With Vince Carter on the block, most playoff teams are pulling for his services. Here's the thing, with the Thunder needing a SG to help balance out the offense plus the expirings the team have at their disposal. Could the Thunder take a chance on reeling in VC for more fan draw or will VC's contract be too much since he's 32yrs old and has three yrs remaining on his contract?
My question for the Nets is what they are looking to get back? Some decent pieces or just expirings?

Re: Vince Carter
VC coming to Oklahoma doesn't make any sense from both the team and VC himself. As you have said. VC is already 32 years old. This is probably the time where he would want to be in a contending team since his days as an NBA player are already numbered. The Thunder is not that team.
Why would the Thunder even take up Carter's 14.7 mil (which increases for the 3 (?) years) in the first place? They're better off drafting players and developing them.
To answer your last question Nets would probably want expirings and picks so that they could rebuild around Harris and Lopez.
