East is much more likely to win IMO, just replace AI with any decent PG, sadly they dont have one, otherwise East would just torch the West.

As much as I hated the lakers...I am so excited to see the shaq + kobe duo in the game tonight. I want to see some kobe to shaq alley oops. And the interview with shaq and when kobe jumped in and started talking brought immediate memories of how unstoppable the two were. They were both saying how they were the best big man little man combo...we all know that they know they could have won 5 championships together.

That 2004 title by the Pistons was well deserved, but I think the 2005 and 2006 title could have easily been the Lakers with shaq and kobe. 2005 the Spurs were a solid team, but shaq was still #1 option and kobe was getting into his prime. 2006 was a strong year for the west with the mavericks bein the top team...still think the lakers could have won it.
