Great...Shaq loves Kobe

Post#1 » by jazzy_jeff » Mon Feb 16, 2009 4:39 am

You could tell how much he loved being back with Kobe and Phil.
Great for Shaq, but as a Sun fan, I'd rather see him wanting to kill 'em

Ah whatever -- trade him to the Lakers

He may ask for a buyout in the off-season and you guys will probably accept to save cash at this rate.

I love Shaq, I love having him in purple and orange

But I can't remember seeing him as happy as he did tonight

yea, he oviously doesnt care about being a sun, does he have a man crush on kobe or something? you can see that kobe doesnt really give a damn about him, he just smiles and laughs, maybe because shaq can kill him by sitting on him? i dont know...shaq in phoenix, the two dont mix for some reason.

To me the Kobe stuff looked awkward and forced...did anyone else think Shaq looked like he was as likely to throttle Kobe as he was kiss him? Seriously that interview with Sager wreaked off two guys with an issue between them...

"We are not going to go back to the room and watch 'Steel Magnolias' or something like that, you know what I'm saying, crying, all that stuff," Bryant said. "We had a good time. That's all."

i really think kobe cant stand shaq, its just because shaq is bigger, if he were smaller, i think kobe would knock his teeth in the back of his head. seriously shaq, kobe doesnt want to be your friend, move on with your life.

Jason Smith on ESPN All Night had a great take on this, saying Shaq desperately wants to come back to the Lakers, but there's no way Kobe would have it: "he'd be traded to the Celtics before he lets Shaq come back"

every laker fan has seen it and knew what shaq was doing as soon as he started saying Kobe's the best in the game and Lebrons still a little behind him. He's tryin to come back and win a ring with the Lakers again but noway we trade for him. We'd have to trade LO and Lamar has been playing like a beast lately plus he said he'd take a paycut too remain a laker for the rest of his career. Can't see it happening this year

It's a total PR move. Stern jizzed in his pants several times today. Riley wanted Shaq to clear the air back when he was in Miami. They've put things behind them since then, but a good amount of it is acting in front of the camera. I'm glad he did it though, otherwise Kobe will be made out to look like the good guy. Not the image Shaq wants to leave behind along with his career.

I doubt Shaq likes Kobe either...

In fact, you can still see the animosity between the two, this is primarily a PR move.

If Shaq wants back, its because of Phil Jackson, I think he has found out the hard way that their is only one coach that stands out from the rest. Phil is 70% of the reason the Lakers are playing so well.

Shaq doesn't care about Kobe, but he knows he is the ticket back to LA *if he wants to go back*.

These two words are the only words that matter to Shaq: Winning Legacy

The Lakers are winning right now, what better place to go for Shaq? Don't fault him for trying to make amends with ownership and coachee...and *blah* Kobe...

Shaq has always said he wanted to retire in LA.
