Anyone have any ideas on how I might contact Jim Stack?

Post#1 » by Calinks » Sat Feb 14, 2009 8:41 pm

I have to do this project in one of my classes where I need to interview a high ranking manager or CEO in a major business. It is supposed to be a business or area we have a strong interest in as well. I thought it would be cool if I could interview Jim Stack or someone else high up in the Timberwolves management department. Does anyone have any idea on how I could go about trying to contact them fro something like this?

First thing I would do is email the TWolves and explain what you need the interview and ask if you can talk to him. I know that your email will likely be read by a secretary, but who knows, maybe they can set you up. It doesn't hurt to try.

Yea, I did that a bit earlier. I think they do read every e-mail, I know a guy who often sent e-mails about acquiring players and things and he got specific responses. Thanks for the help.

They all have email addresses that are their last name @timberwolves.com

so stack's email would be stack@timberwolves.com

I always assumed masochism was a prerequisite for employment with the Wolves.

I'll give him a holla for ya. We got a good vibe. I gave him and Pete Philo a ride back from Mankato after training camp.

(true story, though we actually don't have a good vibe, so I won't be giving him a holla for ya)

True story because I rode with Casey, and they asked me for a ride back. I will probably call Jim at this point this week, and can see if he might be willing.

Are you serious> I would really appreciate it. I wouldn't really be asking him about the wolves but management and its process in general.
