Paul will make Wilcox look like an Allstar... Though they lose ALOT with Chandler.

I know...for a team trying to go somewhere...this is totally ridiculous....but I cant complain since NO is in our division.

Most of the time the salary dump kills a team (the nuggets is a recent exception). Hopefully NO will become bottom dwellers like MEM, even though MEM owns our asses, but at least there'll be less competition. Have you guys seen how tight the west is? PHX is like 4 games out of the 4th spot and they're in 9th right now. Yikes

i think it has to do with bad economy thing
more than half of the league is losing money
teams are just trying to save money

I like this trade for Houst.. oh I mean the Hornets.

Good. No more Chandler to bother Yao.

Great trade for Thunder, their core looks real bright, Westbrook, Green, Durant, and Chandler with capspace and a relatively high draft pick.

Apparently NO is doing this to free up cap space for next year. I can't believe this trade though, this helps us out a lot. The Hornets will still be a good, competing playoff team, but they aren't a legitimate threat to advance anymore. And yes, CP3 will get the best out of Wilcox.

i agree this isnt a horrible trade.. wilcox is not as athletic or defensive minded as chandler but anyone in the nba can catch an alley from a good passer.. wilcox can create his own shot something chandler couldn't.. and with Joe in the mix their bench is deeper

Chandler anchors that defense.

Wilcox has put big games on us before and Joe Smith will be decent, but Chandler was good for them.

Put us in a match-up with them and I think we should be favored to progress finally.

I dunno, Tyson Chandler was never the x-factor when we played New Orleans. We always have trouble with David West and Peja.

Yeah I'd expect Wilcox to turn in career numbers, he's athletic, a good finisher, and that's all you need to CP3.

CP3 will make Wilcox's stats look good, definitely. It also undeniable that the hornets' thin frontcourt becomes thinner than ever.

That and Chandler quickly got overrated last year.
Morey 2020.

Q:How are they experts when they're always wrong?

The Hornets lack of size will bother them. Safe to say that they won't be beating the Spurs or Lakers now. IMO they fallen from that. They may be able to beat the other playoff teams but truthfully...I think if we got em...we would beat em. They have no size...Yao would kill them.
