NFL players who will be good commentators
Which current NFL players do you see becoming very good NFL commentators? (like Keyshawn, Tiki, etc)
I see:
Peyton Manning
Michael Strahan
Terrell Owens
Tom Brady

First off, Keyshawn Johnson isn't good at all.
Second, Tiki Barber hasn't said anything yet.
Third, all four of the guys you picked have obnoxious voices/irritating gaps in the front teeth.

i dont know who will be a good commentator but u can usually tell who will be after they're done playing. usually the faces of teams and those who always participate in interviews or advertisement.

Manning, He is a student of the game and has a good voice(no homo). Just look at Troy Aikmen for fox, he does a great job breaking down the defense and analyzing whats going on. It's actually nice to watch a game when the commentator knows whats going on. DAMN U MADDEN!!!!
I could see Favre being a commentator just for sher humor. However I see him being a coach over a commentator.
I could see Chad Johnson landing a gig with ESPN.
TO I love the guy as a player but I don't see him associated with the NFL after his carrier is up.

Keeping this in here to remind Turk how silly he is.

Manning has a monotone that works well (in an ironic way) in commericals. I couldn't see listening to him for 3+ hours without wanting to put a foot through the TV.
From what I've seen of him, Torry Holt is destined for television. Smart, articulate, and funny. Which means he'll probably be buried on the sidelines while ESPN hires the Sean Salisburies and Joe Theismanns of the world.

Ricky Williams. He could wear a helmet when analyzing.

Shannon Sharpe is a very good Commentator (my fav)
He's great on Sirius NFL radio, terrible on game broadcasts though.
One guy I think has a great future in broadcasting is someone most people probably don't know. That's Justin Hamilton, backup safety for the Browns. Real bright, funny guy, one of those guys who knows football better than he plays it. He's one of the best radio guests I've ever heard from any sport--he's a VaTech guy and made the rounds after the shooting there and was awesome. He did a spot a couple days ago on Vick for a Richmond radio station and he was fantastic, talked about how it would impact a team and about how hard it is to prep to play Vick, plus he talked about the misuse of the race card and Marbury's idiocy.

Just sad.
I've got no ammo on the Colts now.
Besides Peyton Manning's massive forehead, and the fact that they'll be going into cap hell soon, I've got no ammo to taunt my Colts fan friends with.
For now you can't make fun of them, but like you said, once they reach cap hell, they'd be todays Oakland Raiders.
