Maybe on the Raptors board. I doubt he'd go to the HOU board.

Well... on second thought, we ARE the coolest board on RealGM....

He get's my tick of approval! (For what it's worth.) Like many here, I thought he would struggle to get playing time. However, he has managed to get out and play, and unfortunately for us at the end of the season, will be picked up by another team that needs a dependable spot up shooter. I don't know what the rules are, but maybe we should try to lock him up for a longer period of time. Unlike many here, I am an Alston fan, but even i can see that his days are numbered, especially if Brooks keeps improving.

While I like watching Wafer, and am glad he's stepped up so effectively while we've been injured, just keep in mind that he is still a scoring roleplayer who doesn't do much else. The description of "what we'd hoped Head would be" was a very accurate one.

So how does calling him "Good Head" work?

We need to come up with a killer nickname for Wafer.

Anyone?

Wafer sort of reminds me of Deshawn Stevenson from a couple of years ago when he was better than what he is now. Similar physique and versatility. He needs to keep the mohawk.

Von Wafer will struggle trying to become a Kobe Bryant. They are the same size but Kobe is more lanky, as in longer arms compared to his reach. 8'10" reach for Kobe. But if he tried he might be able to come short of that level. With Wafer it's obvious that he had to work and isn't naturally aspirated like TMac or Kobe.. I think we would have lost the games if the Crap-Mac played instead of Von Wafer. Im talking about the latest. I still believe in Tracy but Von could be a prodigy playing these games and might hit Tracy's level any game now... Literally.. What will Tracy do when he comes back? Play one on one with Von Wafer to prove himself? LOL

I hope when Ron and Tracy gets back that they come off the bench, because our starters that are playing now are playing their hearts out, and no reason to break that up..

If Von Wafer keeps playing at this level consistently, then we should seriously consider trading T-mac for a serviceable PG and a back-up big man that is productive on both sides of the floor so that we don't have a gaping hole in the post when Yao is out.

How about the '05 versions of Francis and Cato (plus Mobley)?

Would you still make the trade?

If he can keep this up in the playoffs. It wont hurt being without T-Mac so much.
