Our Road record is horrible because we had a few players who were deciding if they wanted to play Back to Back games.

1 player averaged 14 pts on 33% for 23 road games, where many praised his ability to play through pain and where many rocket fans wanted him to sit so he can heal.

With this current Roster, i like our chances on the Road.

When McGrady played on the road the Rockets were 12 - 11, and without him it would be 1 - 4. So it's not just about McGrady.

Over the past few years McGrady has been exceptional on the road. This season with or without him, this team has a tendency to downplay to their weaker opponents' level. Hopefully, what we saw today at home can translate when we're on the road.

I love it how you leave out the 1-4 when we had games where we didn't have everybody else either or the fact T-mac sat out on Back to backs, which screw up Team chemistry (we all remember the is he playing or not ordeal) also out of those 4 loses we lost to Cleveland who was 17-0 at home, or Denver. The other 2 losses we either didn't have Shane or Artest.

We have everybody except T-mac today, we will be fine on the Road.

PS not trying to be sarcastic i am just really positive about this current Roster and I truly believe they will do much better on the Road vs last half of the season. Granted we are going to play quite a few good teams on the Road.

I'm not embracing Tracy McGrady. I want him out of this team just as much as you do. But there are clearly more factors outside McGrady.

Fair enough. I must say that I admire your optimistic point of view. I hope you're right.

I only want this version of T-mac to be gone.

If he is injury free and he plays both ends of the court, i would love for him to stay.

I still believe if Yao or Rafer (first 2 games) was not injured last year, Rockets would have gotten out of the 1st round and I don't care what anybody else says 2005 dallas playoffs, we should of won, we had some really horrible killer ref plays and we all saw the reports of some sort of Ref scandal going on.

I still remember that play where Jerry Stackhouse steps out of bounds and comes back in and strips the ball from Jon Barry right in front of the Ref.

I agree completely, also those years if we only had a point guard. I mean telling Mcgrady to guard nowitzki,, score 30 points,, and create shots for everyone is absurd. This team isnt going anywhere without a point guard that can consistently create for everyone, look how good we played tonight when raefor got 11 assists. To blame it fully on tmac is just biased, we need someone whos going to lead us and create shots for our talented players, if we can trade tmac for someone like that im all for it but picking up a guy like vince whos far from a leader will not take us out of the first round

Like everyone has said. This would have been better if it were on the road. At home this season we have done a good job of beating the teams we should. We really need to translate that to the road or we will struggle to stay in the playoff picture.

This is still a good team. Mcgrady's out for the season so now Rick can at least find consistency and hopefully we can continue to get better from there. This was the beginning of the Houston Rockets post-Mcgrady, and we kicked it off with an impressive win.

Consistency is key, tonight was a great game, we took it to them and blew them out. Battier looked good, Yao looked good, Artest looked good, and hopefully Wafer gets a continued larger role with this team, he's superb in the open court and a solid open shooter from the perimeter.

I saw us try to get Artest more post ups. Look we have to go with this guy's strength. Its on him and Yao now and we all know how consistent Yao is. So its essentially trying to get Artest going. He has to get to putting up 20 a night consistently. Yes the 3 ball is good...but he has to work in the post. He shouldn't be taking anyone off the dribble nor should he be attempting to set up teammates. He is a scorer and a defender and if we are gonna salvage this season and try to get the Blazers in the first round we'll need Artest to be great.
