Larry Brown plays yet another one of his former teams... The Pacers came back from the All-Star game with a 9-pt victory against the visiting 76ers. They hope to continue that when they play the Bobcats on Wednesday night. There were trade reports involving these 2 teams, focusing on Jeff Foster, Raymond Felton, and possibly Brandon Rush. Either team could be making moves today, leaving their team short-handed.
These 2 teams are great this year, but are both hopeful to make the playoffs. The Pacers (22-33) and Bobcats (21-32) are both 4 1/2 back of the #8 spot, with the Pacers have a .004% advantage percentage-wise. They have great hall-of-famers in the organization. The only problem is that they are no longer playing. Larry Bird and Michael Jordan.
The Bobcats have made a few trades this season. Just 11 days ago was trading recent #3 overall pick Adam Morrison to the Lakers for Vladimir Radmanovic. The Bobcats also included Shannon Brown.
About a month ago they traded guard Matt Carroll and center Ryan Hollins for DeSagana Diop. One of the bigger trades so far this year had the Bobcats acquiring guards Raja Bell and Sean Singletary and forward Boris Diaw from the Phoenix Suns for guard Jason Richardson, forward Jared Dudley and a 2010 conditional second-round pick. They clearly have made many moves this season, and it wouldn't be suprising if there is another one, possibly involving Raymond Felton (a Restricted Free Agent who they fear will be asking too much) before the trade deadline on Thursday.
Since acquiring Raja Bell, Boris Diaw, and Sean Singletary the Bobcats are 14-16 (also lost 2 games while the players were getting their physicals complete, etc. Raja Bell has averaged 13.5 points per game since coming to the Bobcats, while also getting 3.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists. Diaw is averaging 14.5 points, 5.2 assists, and 6.6 rebounds in 29 games. Singletary has limited playing time thus far for the Bobcats. Vlad Rad is averaging over 15 points off the bench since being acquired, the Bobcats going 2-1 in these games.
Coming off the bench, the Bobcats have their coveted PG D.J. Augustin, another PG product of Texas, like the Pacers T.J. Ford. They also have Vladimir Radmanovic, Juwan Howard, Cartier Martin, DeSagana Diop, and Nazr Muhammed.
Coming off the bench for the Pacers are Marquis Daniels, Travis Diener, Rasho Nesterovic, Brandon Rush, and Maceo Baston. There could be a trade before tonights game with a few of those players, along with Jeff Foster among others.
Injury Report
Bobcats: None
Pacers: Mike Dunleavy DTD
Jeff Foster DTD
The Bobcats are 15-14 at home while the Pacers are a horrid 6-22 on the road. Don't be suprised if either team makes a trade before the game or on Thursday, possibly with each other.

Last, but nooooooot least...

Go Pacers! I included a lot of pictures. This is the first thread I have ever made. It looks like some pictures are too big, so I may need a little help/info with that. Enjoy the pictures, but I wouldn't mind if you read some of what I wrote, too. Good and informative stuff. Also, I like Conan. He isn't attractive, but he is awesome, and this is his last week on Late Night before he goes to the Tonight Show. Go Pacers!!
