Kleiza is an offensive role player who plays as small forward or as an undersized power forward.

He is very good at driving and finishing at the rim, his "shooting" percentage in the zone is great (over 60%). He has some good moves and is also good at driving along the baseline and finishing with a reverse dunk/layup. He is also a decent spot-up three point shooter, but pretty inconsistent and doesn't produce a good percentage.
He doesn't shoot from mid-range though, his only two options are driving to the basket or trying the three-point shot.
He falls in love with the three point shot too often which is a grave weakness as he's much more successful when he's driving to the basket.
His passing is not worth mentioning (=average) as is his defense or his rebounding ability.
He's very good at running the floor and often finishes fast breaks.

So, in a nutshell, he's a big, strong and fast player for his position who can drive and finish inside or hit a three pointer, but is inconsistent and does not have a good all-round game.
So he's a guy who can provide good scoring from the bench but is not capable of producing as a starter every night.

Kleiza is a chucker. That's the best way to describe it, imo.
He'll have weeks where he'll do it very efficiently and put up 20+ ppg, while consistently hitting the 3 ball and making good plays to the rim. Then when you think he's turned the corner and really is becoming the good player he can be, he plays like he has been lately, and can't even buy a bucket.

He is pretty clutch though, gotta admit that.

We'll give him to you for Anthony Parker. Deal?

That boat sailed. Karl f'ed it up.

Parker is a much better shooter and defender than LK. I'd call that being more skilled.

I just love how he can do no wrong in Karl's eyes. JR gets a dumb foul, he's yanked. Kleiza runs from baseline to baseline without dribbling, Karl's salivating at the thought of patting him on the ass during the next timeout.

What has happened to Kleiza this year? He had a pretty good year with us last year. Do you guys know what's changed?

because after last year he thinks he is "all that" and he wants tons of money. So he is too overconfident in himself. now is shows his real bad side. plus it is his last year with the nugs so he is upset that he did not get a contract deal. whatta cry baby.

You'd think that he'd play out of his mind for a fat contract. lol But not this year. :-?
