I'd love to see the Suns get Lou back for $1m a year again, possibly 2 yrs $2m, AND get that vet backup big who can hit a 15 footer/play D like Joe Smith/KT (ha...damn)/Nazr/Najera

Amundson isn't more valuable than KT; KT's jumpshot allowed for spacing, his veteran presence was great in the lockerroom, and he's the only guy who could guard Duncan. He gave our team a much needed toughness.

Lou does the same thing during scrimmage. It's just the Suns don't require that of him during games just as the Spurs don't require KT to run the floor.

I'm sure some of you have already seen it, but Hollinger's comment at the end of his section in espn's daily dime made me smile from ear-to-ear:

The Suns are back, baby, and they're going to be hell on wheels from here on out.

Hell yeah. Do or die, this is the team I want to see.

Lou is exactly what you want from one of your deeper bench players, he isn't going to blow you away with offense (by any means) but you can bet that when he is on the court he's going 110% when it comes to hustling, rebounding, etc. I really hope we resign him for next season, I like what he brings when he is on the court.

lol come on man, everyone knows you have a mancrush on Lou. Take it to the player comparison board and I think the poll will come out in KT's favor.

You're on drugs.

You seriously think Lou is even close to Boris's skill level? :o

I'm still angry with Steve Kerr for not realizing this earlier. Great to see the playing how they need to play. I want to see how they do against a good team though.

I have a feeling the Suns are going to be that playoff team that no one wants to face.
much respect to the 2011-2012 champions, Miami Heat, well deserved

--- Agree that KT should have been a fundamental part of out team, but between the dream and reality falls ... the shadow

The good news about Sweet Lou is he's not pricey enough for Sarver to jettison, unlike Kurt

Seriously, every great team needs these Lou-type guys

I am so glad that they did not trade STAT and fired Porter and are going back to play the way they play best. WH\ho knows if it is enough to get them deep into the playoffs but you have to play to their strengths.

They will be exciting to watch again. Imagine if they get smoking on the offensive end like they blew Clippers twice by putting up back to back 140 points and just hustle on defence a bit. If they do these two things they have a chance as a dark horse.

A new coaching change will give them a boost like any situation but we will see how they go when the dust settles. I hope they beat Boston on Sunday American time and then smoke Lakers when they play twice in the next 2 weeks. These games are the real test even playing their old style. I would like to see them beat Boston and at least beat LA once and put up a good fight in the other loss. Hell give us all 3 Suns !!!!!

I always have a soft spot for these guys but they just jerk your pud every year and then don't make ya blow ! They get close but not close enough.

The big question is without expecting it, can they make one more legit run this year?

I HOPE SO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
