I love Jeff Foster, but I still don't see where he fits in with this teams future. That being said, I love that the Pacers organization has his back after all these years. It shows what respect a respectable player earns with us.

I also would love to see Foster dealt, but only to a winner and only if we gain something good back in return. It will show respect to Foster if we trade him away. He should be a winner. But also we need to look out for ourselves. I don't want to trade Foster unless it's a deal that helps us in the future. Trading for sake of trading i hate.

This is a classic case of "he's worth more to us than he would be to you". Foster is a fixture here, the last remaining reminder of our Finals team. The consummate professional and hard worker, the fans here have grown to love him. I like that Bird isn't going to just give him away.

I carry a basketball card of Jeff Foster in my wallet, in front of all the other pictures to remind me to give 100% no matter what. Wherever he goes, I'll continue to hope for his success, but I do hope he stays with my favorite starting five in the whole world: the Power Rangers.
