I'm going to merge this into the POB thread that I locked earlier (related)....looks like I acted too soon.

Here is the better version:

The Kings did squeeze in one last deal, as a league source tells me they did a three-team deal in which Will Solomon and cash comes to the Kings from Boston, Toronto gets Patrick O'Bryant from Boston and the Celtics get a conditional future second round pick from the Kings.

SI.com's Ian Thomsen just reported that the Bulls deal Thabo Sefolosha to OKC for a 2009 first-round pick. That's a great deal for the Thunder, who really needed a quality 2 and defensive stopper to round out their rotation.

WHAT THE FU....

We could have got that pick for Salmons instead!!!!!

I'm pretty sure it would be a late pick. iirc they owned both Spurs/Nuggets pick this year. But yeah, we should have consider it?

Reports say they might get the Suns pick in 2010....that would have been NICE considering how the Suns are thinking about blowing it up in 2010.

Maybe the Thunder didn't offer us this deal?

Raps fan here,
WIll Solomon's really not a bad player at all. Good shooter. Good basketball IQ. Plays hard. He was stuck in T.O with too many PG's, but he can be a reliable backup.

Raptors fan also:

Solomon was a 20PPG guy overseas in Turkish League.
Has a good vision
Average shooter (although made some key 3's against team like Boston...)
Shoot-first PG
Good handling skills
B- Athleticism (Has a pretty good vertical leap)

Does Soloman mean the end of Bobby Jackson in Sac?
Are we making a classy move and letting B-Jax go to a contender?

^HAHAHA! Thanks for that. I don't think he'll be a king for years to come, we have beno to backup whatever point we draft this year. It was a money deal. Thanks for the good omen though..

Because Hoopshype is not always the most accurate source. Give them a couple of days to get everything sorted out. The Kings made a lot of moves and shuffled a lot of players around.
