Drew "The Big Drizzle" Gooden

Post#1 » by Gooden4Life » Thu Feb 19, 2009 11:37 pm

Congrats Kings fans on getting back the best player in the trade and one of the most underrated power fowards in nba history. Drew Gooden is a legit 20+/10+ guy with multiple post and non post scoring moves, and a great locker room and community presence. This man can score and rebound with the best of them. Hopefully you guys resign him to a lock term deal and the Kings will once again be a winning franchise. Again, you will all be pleasantly surprised with how good Drew Gooden is and the Chicago Bulls are complete morons for not giving Drew more minutes and touches. Go Kings!

Thanks, but I would guess Kings let him expire.

You are basically getting Chris Webber in his prime again who can rebound better but Drew can't defend or pass as well as Chris Webber. Offensively in this system Drew can put up large numbers on the inside that this team needs. He is much more polished offensively then the average nba fan is aware of. I feel he should be at least the number 2 option offensively for this team and the number 1 option when Martin has a off night. I've followed all of Drew Goodens cheated career (he has yet to have a fair opportunity on any team) and I can tell you all right now Drew Gooden will fit this system like a glove.

If he's given time to play I wouldn't be surprised to see him as the PF moving forward. I don't know if he's that good, but he might be.

We do get his Bird rights so we can pay him the most in free agency. I think we will either sign the better of Diogu and Gooden. I am not sure if we will go with 2 of the bigs they just got it probably depends on what happens soon. I think we definitely need one vet starter big to take the pressure off Hawes/JT they both look like they are pressing right now.

Gooden isn't that good. He's a solid starting center on a .500 team. (Bulls, Cleveland). Thompson is our future, and we won't invest money into Drew unless he's willing to be lowballed a complete joke.

Gooden is solid, but please let's not get carried away, he's definetly no Webber, not even close.

Webber in his prime was one of the best PFs who ever played the game. And Gooden..ugh decent PF...But seriously, there is no way Gooden is at the level as Webber. Only monkeys with wretches think that.

He has enough talent to be a 20 10 guy, but that's not saying much.

People think that CWebb was some superhero but without Bibby making up for his choking he is Gooden. Just like Boozer and Deron Williams, Nash and Amare, Stockton and Malone, Duncan and Parker, Rasheed and Chauncey, Shaq and DWade. Shaq and TD are really the only clutch big guys.
Boozer's team with him on it at Utah came in last place and nearly cost Jerry Sloan's job. Then they got a draft pick named Deron Williams and Boozer had the same stats as the year without Deron but the made the playoffs the next year. We wouldn't have even traded Miller as sucky as many of you think he is if we still had Bibby because no one would have noticed Miller choking with Bibby closing games out. Nobody has to be CWebb, just let the guys play, get us a clutch PG in the draft and see who develops. I think JT has more TD in his game than CWebb that's fine with me. I was a big CWebb fan and the guy has moved along maybe he will be involved in the franchise some way but he was just another choker without Bibby. Who know what Diogu, Gooden, JT or Hawes will develop into? That's why people pay big bucks for sports because it is a man's soap opera.

Do I really need to disprove this specific claim in your post? This is wrong in so many levels. I don't know where to begin.

You age getting one of the dumbest players ever to play in the league. He doesn't rebound well for a big and is a streaky scorer.

You guys are gonna get some great laughs from Gooden4Life for the next few months. Enjoy him while you have him, it was fun hearing his completely over the top sales pitches for Drew over the past year.

You guys didn't read the fine print on the trade.

We also traded you Gooden4Life. Sorry, no take backs.

This is the funniest thing i have read all day especially the comparison to Webber.

Awesome! My hats off to Gooden4Life. He honestly is one of the greatest player fans in all of RealGM. Good luck to the kings and Drew fanboys in the future!
