I would welcome his addition, but I would expect that a team like Boston or LA is more likely as each opened a roster spot in the last week.

I read that Calvin Booth might be in the same situation.

Will Rick Sund do anything to strengthen the bench for the playoffs?
More help is needed unless Woody is determined to use a 7 man rotation for the playoffs.

If he's bought-out, he's placed on waivers, and it takes 48 hours to clear waivers, so he can't sign anything before.

I don't know how we signed Murray, if it was with a part of MLE, or with the BAE, because Evans leaves more than 3M on the MLE, and as we are more than 3M lower than the tax threshold, we can make an offer to Mikki Moore, a better offer than BOS (I don't know if they used it, but if they don't sign him for a minimum salary, they will have to pay lots of tax for him).

No matter if Sund brings in someone or not, Woody is very stubborn in those players that he trust on the court.
We probably wouldn't get anyone that could help us unless we encountered a significant injury. Woody's not changing anything in what he believes in....you gotta do it his way.

For the right price, and a short contract, I would add him. Solo is inconsistent and the only good thing about Randolph Morris is that he makes me feel a little better about anything stupid I ever did on a basketball court.

Can't figure out if Flip was part of the MLE or the Bi-Annual Exception. Either way it appears we should have some MLE available and we're below the luxury tax.

This is a very good point. I wonder if it's a veteran whether Woody would be more likely to use him? Last year Billy Knight stopped pursuit of Dale Davis because he felt he wouldn't make an impact. I wonder if that was just a nod to Woodson unlikelihood of using such a late addition (or maybe their feud would have played the deciding factor).
