Boozer Back to Cavs?

Post#1 » by drivewayball » Fri Feb 20, 2009 2:00 am

I read that Cleveland had the chance to get Boozer for the stretch run. Anyone know the details of what that deal proposal may have been? Carlos is ready to play this weekend and would have been just a perfect fit for the Cavs it would seem ... esp. given his plus relationship with James. Yep, there would have been some irony in Carlos returning to Cleveland, but hey, his efficiency numbers are significantly better than Stoudemire or Bosh.

He would of been a great fit. I doubt Utah was that willing to trade him though.

Honestly, I see Boozer as nothing more than a rich man's version of Gooden. Plus, Cavs fans hate Loozer with a passion.. Don't think he would be welcomed here. Better yet, that guy is only after money. He has no heart for the game. I'd rather have Hickson establish himself as a prolific player.

Boozer is NOT an option in cleveland. He burned his bridges big time.

/Boozer is a more efficient version of Stoudemire and Bosh.

I am entitled to my own opinion as you are to yours. But instead of laughing your ass off, you can always justify your answer.

HUH???? That is why the Cavs DIDN'T make the trade!!! (Or at-least one of the reasons)

What made you think that LeBron has a "plus" relationship with LeBron? LeBron has a "good" relationship with almost everyone, but Boozer is most-definitely not a "plus"...not by any stretch of the imagination.

James was quoted as saying that he would like to have Boozer as his power forward for his entire career.... that after playing for a season with Booz. You have a short memory perhaps.

that was five years ago, things change. bringing in boozer would be like spitting in the face of gordon gund and his family - i highly doubt lebron thinks that way now

Sorry guys but Boozer would never be welcome back in a Cleveland uniform as long as Gordon Gund is still a minority owner of the Cleveland Cavs. Danny Ferry and Dan Gilbert have too much affection for Gordon Gund.

Don't the Jazz want to get rid of him as well? I hear that the will not resign him and sign and groom milsap in his place.
The answer to all of life's questions is Kevin Nash.
