I get updates from pacers.com whenever anything of significance happens. Which I'm sure many of you do as well. So I have received 4 separate injury updates straight from the Pacers.
Foster - Severe Back spasms, is listed as day to day, unsure of return.
Dunleavy - Sore right knee, is out indefinitely, not likely to come back this regular season.
Granger - Partial tendon tear, 10 days to 3 weeks, upon return likely to play restricted minutes.
Daniels - Sore left knee, game time decision, will play but limited minutes.
Just thought I would share some of these with you. They all were not from today from the past week til just now. Looks like that playoff chase is not looking so great. Imagine if we were to have picked up Chandler (which I still want to) We would only have had (assuming he costs us Rasho and Jack) TJ, Deiner, Rush, Graham, McRoberts, Baston, Murphy, and Hibbert fully healthy and able to play. That would have been rough. Any chance that's why a deal didn't develop?

It's possible. Who knows with Bird though. According to him, two teams "really wanted" Tinsley (with the Bobcats almost certainly being one of them), yet he didn't make a deal. Whatever.

Re: Injury Update.
So out best player right now is Trophy?
He better get a quadruple double or something, that's what he's getting paid for. If he gets a triple-double in a Pacers victory, he will have fulfilled his contract 75%. Quadruple-double or he's still overpaid.
A deal didn't happen because we shouldn't have done a good job of explaining why we weren't playing Tinsley back then. When you exile a player, other teams tend to back away, especially considering his contract in these tough economic days.
