The Jason Richardson appreciation thread
I know alot of people are complaining about him getting arrested and stuff but this is exactly what the Suns need. They need someone who's tough and doesn't take anything from anyone. What I mean is the Suns finally have players that put fear back onto the court. We all saw what happened with Lou getting beat up by Zach Randolph, Zach saw Lou as the perfect target to pick on but would he do that to J-Rich, Barnes, Amar'e, etc? HECK NO!!!
Now I don't agree with what J-Rich did but look on the brightside
-No one was hurt/injured
-He apologized
Suns badasses
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
J-Rich (Arrested two times in 3 months!)
Matty Barnes (Phoenix's favorite thug)
Amar'e (Arrested throughout his childhood and everyone loves Amar'e)
Shaq (If he was in prison he would control it)
Just your average guy
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
Robin Lopez, Alando Tucker, Jared Dudley, Grant Hill, Leandro Barbosa, Goran Dragic
Weak links
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lou Amundson (Get the ponytail cut young man!)
Steve Nash (Enough said!)
So basically I'm saying Richardson doesn't deserve to be criticized, he made a mistake and it's time to move on. We as Suns fans should APPRECIATE what he brings to the table. The Suns finally have a select group of guys that other teams fear!
So appreciate Jason Richardson guys!
Just because Jason Richardson's been arrested twice in three months doesnt make him a bad ass. It makes him a **** moron.
Re: The Jason Richardson appreciation thread
i read the whole post and then realized who this could be... damn it man damn it. so appreciate Artest after his lil incident because he apologized? no one was hurt yes, BUT no one should have been put in the situation to be possibly hurt because of his stupidity. people make mistakes its a given but the line is drawn at MAYBE going 70 in a 35 not 95 in a 35... oh well its over now and hopefully he gets his head on right.
Re: The Jason Richardson appreciation thread
First off, he certainly DESERVES to be criticized. Youre completely delusional.
Having said that...
Appreciation threads are for when people LEAVE the team. Not for then they speed.
If JRich speeding keeps you up at night Im not sure what youre doing watching basketball. Over 40% of players have a felony on their record. Movie stars are busted all the time for DUI and drugs and moving violations. Youre still going to the theaters. Youre paying and watching them for entertainment, not for their stellar behavior after theyre done performing.
If his arrest truly bothers you, consider changing pastimes.
He's (Please Use More Appropriate Word), but he is fast, can dunk, and makes millions of dollars. That's pretty much why I tune in. If I was 6'6" or as handsome as Brad Pitt, I wouldnt be here.
Lets admit what reality we're living in and move on.
Re: The Jason Richardson appreciation thread
HE IS BACK!!!! MARY IS BACK with his brilliant and intelligent threads.
feww, I was getting worried there we might not get as many useless threads, but you helped me overcome my fears.
J-rich in no way is a bad as*, he is a moron and unintelligent. He is lucky nothing has happened both times he has made a horrible decision. You are delusion to think he deserves a thread like this. This just shows your character as a person to praise idiocy.
Re: The Jason Richardson appreciation thread
I just re-read you original post Mary...have to say it's kind of a joke.
JRich is a badass who won't take crap from anyone and puts fear back onto the court? More like the freeway. How you can consider JRich 'tougher' than Lou - who took the punch and came back for more, I'll never know. But I'd like to hear your argument as to how speeding with an unrestrained 3yr old and drunk driving makes someone tough and feared on the court. Unless he's serving beer and driving one of those gimmick toy cars I don't see it...
Barnes/Shaq/Amare I don't see backing down from anyone, same with Lou.
How you can say Dragic is 'tougher' than Lou I'll never know, and how you can reward JRich's stupidity with a thread I'll never know either...
Mary,
Please get a life bro. Seriously. This is another lame attempt to stir the forum pot. Give it up already. Can't you find something more constructive to do? Not for one second did I find your driveling post to be serious. Get a job. Get a girlfriend. Get a hobby. Get a life.
Mary, I'm beginning to think you're attempting to troll on purpose...I hope you have a 3 year old, b/c then we could all come over and endanger its life to prove to you just BA we are.
Re: The Jason Richardson appreciation thread
Dude, he lives in the upscale neighborhood of maryvale! The place where the suns should move and build a new arena because the scrubs play ball there.
Ok, lets get to the real meat of this junk. I think the thread is a lame attempt on all fronts, but lets look at J-rich for a second.
The dude has made some boneheaded decisions within the short time he has been here. He has two strikes and I think the next one, he will be and should be gone. I know this organization has a history, but that was the colangelos who did this when a guy hit his wife or was caught with drugs. Im not condoning his actions or making them lesser by any means, but Sarver did not have to deal with this so far until J-rich. So the policy might be a little different with Sarver who might be a little more forgiving.
Being a criminal is not in no way considered a bad a**. Are you trying to glorify criminal behavior? It did not work for the jailblazers a few years back, why would it work here? Next, J-rich has never been looked at as an enforcer or a guy you do not want to mess with. He does not act like a tough guy who gets in your grill at all on D.
I personally think Lou looks tougher then J-rich. But is there some underlying subject here that you are not saying???
