i think AK is playing more comfortably after this surgery, may be they removed something, that was limiting his moves to some degree. LOL.

Great game. That's for you, Larry.

Looks like this was a bigger game for us than the NO fans. They don't even have a game thread.

I thought Deron Vs. Paul was mostly a wash tonight. But, I'm going to give the matchup to Deron for two reasons. #1 = we won. #2 = Paul melted down in the 4th quarter. But, in the first 3 quarters Paul was tremendous, so I don't want to call him out too much.

NO has little defense with Chandler not on the floor. Such a stark contrast from the Boston game. Tonight we got pretty much whatever we wanted, against Boston we couldn't get anything we wanted all night long. If it wasn't for some terrific shooting by NO we'd have run them out of the building.

They keep talking about some guy named "Boozer" coming back on TV. Who is this guy? Is he any good? How will he affect our rotations?
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

I was very impressed with Kyle Korver. Classy. Deron as well....

I guess they saw the writing on the wall when the schedule said "@ Utah." Plus, most of the Hornets' fans seem to congregate elsewhere, as opposed to on RealGM. I can't figure why, but they're really underrepresented on here.

Hahahahha. DWill can pimp-slap CP3 anytime he wants. No smoke and mirrors or marketing involved when these two play....just flat out domination by one over the other.......

Deron is the man, but I was at the game and wish to point out that Sloan actually told Deron to go take the ball to Gail Miller. I thought Deron for sure would just do it as the clock ticked away, but he ended up throwing the ball to the ref. So Sloan also must get some classy cred in this situation.

Yeah, I was much more moved by Korver's gesture. It was nice that Deron took it over there, but the moment between Gail and Kyle was much sweeter, more natural, and less rushed.

Jerry really is a great man, a truly good person, through and through. A lot of the time people don't see it because of his gruff personality and hard-nosed approach to the game of basketball, but he is genuinely good down to his boot soles. His comments after the game about Larry were truly touching; a side of Jerry Sloan few ever get to see.

In other news, we are the hottest team in the NBA with four straight, and the Lakers, Cavs, and Rockets have 3 streaks and are all playing today. If Boozer comes back tomorrow, we should not lose for a while. At least we'll be able to rebound better.

Rick Adelman is the best coach in the NBA currently I think. Dude gets amazing results from his teams. His Finals of course, what he built around Webber, a castaway, in Sacramento. 21 wins in a row w/out Yao. Now TMac out, Yao still soft as always, and they continue winning.

Lets replace Sloan with Adelman, like I said in 2005 when he was with the Kings, when Sloan retires....

Return to Utah Jazz
