Rafer Alston played the day after the magic traded for him without a name on his jersey, and we still can't play ours!? Rashad will probably fail his physical just to piss everyone off.

I hope they don't leave any needles around cause Shad will definitely take all the shots he can get off.

In the Kings' defense they do have like 84 guys to give physicals to. At the deadline they acquired Will Solomon, Cedric Simmons, Andres Nocioni, Drew Gooden and Ike Diogu... in addition to the Wolves guys!

That Williams interview is epic!

:reporter: This is your third team, is that a difficult process after only being in the league a couple years

Williams: uuuuuummmmmmm, well I mean um being traded twice you know um um I only know somewhat what what to um expect about uhhh how a different ummm ah you know uhhh I guess uhhhh um situations and so I I kinda get accustomed to uhhh that.

Gotta admit, that made me laugh!

I have no idea what the gameplan was for the Kings with their trades.

I plucked this from the Kings board.

deNIEd wrote: No, players do improve, but would you seriously bet your future on Thompson/Hawes? Would you really bet on Thompson/Hawes over Beasley. Over Rose. Over Durant/Westbrook. Over Love/Jefferson.

YOU DON'T HURT YOUR FUTURE JUST TO ALLOW THE PROCESS OF DISCOVERY TO HAPPEN

We are worse off today and worse off tomorrow. There is ABSOLUTELY NO POSITIVES AT ALL.

I mean, people in wheelchairs are absolutely ripped in their upper bodies, but it doesn't mean if you wanna build arm muscles to go cut your legs off.

How on earth, do you think we will ever come close to
Rose/Salmons/Deng/Thomas + '10 Max FA
Westbrook/Durant/Green/Chandler + '09 Top 7 Pick
Blake/Roy/Batum/Aldridge/Oden/Webster/Outlaw
Foye/Brewer/Love/Jefferson + '09 Top 5 Pick
Law/Johnson/Williams/Smith/Horford
Lebron
Dwight
Kobe

We can't

Wait -- someone actually likes us?

to be fair he forgot to add our FA also. :D and whatever we get for Mike Miller and whatever Brewer brings to the table (*at minimum he is a crazy good defender)

The Kings are hurting right now but they still got a chance. All it takes is a number of right moves and you can be back in the hunt. The NBA's a guards game right now and they got a pretty impressive young one in Martin. Thompson/Hawes may not be the star big they will need but the team has a future to look forward to.

I like Thompson and Hawes, but neither is a stud. Both could be keepers. The problem is they have been in late-lotto hell the last couple years. But I still believe if you add a legit 1 and 3 to this group they could have a decent future. I do think they fired Reggie too fast. Ironically Porter would be a nice fit here.

I agree that they need a legit pg, but I think they will be fine at sf with Nocioni, Garcia, and Greene. They also need a defensive big in their frontcourt rotation. Shelden Williams would be a good fit.
