Ed Reed and Ed Reed. Dawkins is a harder hitter (not that Reed won't lay you out), but that's about it. Not to mention the age factor.

Brian Dawkins. I personally believe Ed reed is the most overrated secondary player in the NFL.

Please explain your theory on how Ed Reed is overrated, because I must admit, I chuckled when I read that statement.


I'd take Ed Reed any day of the week.

I'll take Reed right now, but not by that much. I would take A younger Dawkins in a flash.

I think Dawkins brings a Ray Lewis type quality to a team that can pump both the crowd and his teammates, and on defense that is really valuable... I think this is an underrated trait in defenders.

Reed for both. But back in his prime, Dawkins was better than Reed is now, IMO.

I am the Biggest Dawkins fan..
and if we are taking into account AGE..Reed..
If not..I will probably say Dawkins..By saying that ED Reed is probably the best Ball Hawking FS You will ever see...He is just not as intimidating as Brian Dawkins!!

Yea, Ed Reed just has an amazing nose for the ball, while Dawkins has a nose for blood.
