I'll assume Nenê is out for this game(and probably the season, knowing our luck)....but Kenyon should be back.

Re: Celtics @ Nuggets - Monday, February 23rd
Im just glad Melo and Billups had to play 40 minutes against the Bucks, cause Doc overplayed Ray and Paul
We should be able to escape with this one, though Billups could give Rondo problems

Not a matchup that I really like for the Celtics. Billups has given Rondo some real issues in the past. If Pierce can keep Melo in check and Rondo plays close to Billups level the team should be fine.

Ut is payback time....
Denver yesterday finished 8 games road trip...they must be tired, but on the other hand exited about coming home...if we want to stay in the race for first a must win
lets go

We will win...we need revenge for them stealing a game in Boston earlier in the season!
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

Indeed. Does anyone know if there is another team in the league that has a winning record against you guys since the start of last season, besides Denver(2-1)? I'm pretty sure that'll change tonight, so it'd be cool to know why it lasts.

Re: Celtics @ Nuggets - Monday, February 23rd
We lost the last game against DEN because of the bad play of our bench and I think bench improved in last 2 month. KG will be missed, no doubt but we can win without him. We are 4:0 this season without KG, 9:2 without him overall in 2 years.
I watched last quarter of yesterdays MIL-DEN game. They had a lot of tunovers but on the other hand were very strong rebounding, Birdman played a great game. We know Rondo will have problems with physical Billups, but I think the key is Pierce defense on Anthony. If we can shut him down we have a chance.

The Wizards beat us 3 times last year.

I think that Chauncey is the guy who's going to be having the issues tonight. With Rondo actually getting to shoulder more of the scoring load in Garnett's absence, that means that Billups will actually have to defend him. Rondo does a much better job of defending Chauncey than the other way around. No vacations for Billups while Rajon has teh ball taken out of his hands this time around.
I'm expecting around 25 points from Rondo tonight. Maybe even a triple double thrown in. With Kevin out not only does Rondo have more opportunities to score, he also has less competition for rebounds.

I'll admit there were several calls that went Boston's way yesterday vs. Phoenix, so I think the officiating will be key. Billups tends to get the calls his way when he plays Rondo so, if that happens, I think Denver will win. Otherwise, I think Boston wins.

Good analysis. I think if we play smart ball we should win...limit the TOs and TAKE IT TO THE HOOP...Denver plays **** terrible D so that is key...

Both teams are on the second night of a back-to-back, if I'm not mistaken (I know the C's are), although the C's continue on the road while Denver comes home after a roadie...

I thought Denver statistically is one of the best defensive teams in the league. Top 5 or so.
