Marbury bought out?

Post#1 » by PP34RA10 » Mon Feb 23, 2009 7:46 pm

Marbury and The Knicks & Walsh agree to buyout. Announcement will be made at end of the week, just before that March 1st deadline.

Marbury will agree to the number NY wants BUT will retain the right to sign wherever he chooses! LOL (HELLO BOSTON, darkhorse is DENVER)

As soon as the ink is dry PE Jr will be in Orange and Blue! Cheik and Nichols will get the other 2 open spots!

from the knicks board

Was there a link given, and why wait until the end of the week?

There is no link. The person on the Knicks board posted this without a link. This should be locked.

This guy has posted random stuff before, a buyout should come soon, maybe even tomorrow.

i read somewhere that walsh n marbury are talking to reach a buyout before tomorrow. Tommorow is when the hearing is for marbury appeal of the $400,000 fine. Said that if a buyout happens today marbury would drop his appeal.

http://www.prosportsdaily.com/comments/marbury-walsh-to-meet-205910.html

" With the arbitration hearing between Stephon Marbury and Knicks brass still set for tomorrow in New York to dispute his $400,000 fine, the Knicks' point guard and Donnie Walsh are planning to meet privately, man to man, before the legal battle.

According to a person familiar with the situation, the two will go face to face to see if they can work out a buyout settlement and avoid the legal hearing altogether.

Marbury has already offered to give back $1 million of his remaining salary and drop his appeal on the $400,000 fine he got for allegedly refusing to play in Detroit. The players' association spent the weekend preparing for the hearing, in which coach Mike D'Antoni will testify. "

TonyMontana the short answer is that the celtics need bench help.

Also on a side note do you have Street Fighter 4 for the ps3? I played someone named TonyMontana and I was wondering of that was you. Probably not but I figured I would ask.

I know but Mikki Moore???
I mean the guy I think hasnt even averaged over 10ppg his entire career, he cant board, he rpg is around 3, he gets in foul trouble a lot, and to top it off, lets say he is signed, who's minutes is he going to take up......... Babies, correct??? Now to me Baby has done a decnet job, he has a very decent jumper 8-10 feet, he plays hard D on the Bigs. So where is Mikki going to contribute.

Lolllllllllllll.............. Na Joe........ I dont really play video games other than when I visit my nephews, they always sucker me into playing all the Leggo ones you know Batman, Starwars, Indiana Jones.................lolllllllllllllll But I was never a fan of video games. I will look into it see if my nephews have that game or not.
