Pacers Psychic Predictions: 2/23/09

Post#1 » by Miller4ever » Mon Feb 23, 2009 5:11 am

Me and pacersrule08 both got within 2, and it was an easy victory because nobody guessed.

Next game is against those Knicks...at MSG. Both teams are in the second game of back-to-backs. Hopefully our road woes won't continue, and we'll pull out with a victory.

My apologies. I try to guess every game, but I am in LA right now and not getting to my computer much.

I'm baffled by this team. I really am. Especially if we win this game, all bets are off.

All that said...Knicks by 4.

M4E: You are from Los Angeles aren't you? I'll be here a for a week, is there anything you recommend I do while I am out here? I'm going to the Clippers-Warriors game tomorrow (thrilling game, I know).

You should go to Universal Citywalks or hang around Westwood, if you could. Both places are hangouts, with restaurants and shops. I would also recommend eating as much In-n-Out burger as you can; BEST BURGERS EVER. If you've already eaten there, go back and order something different. The menu's small, but infinitely customizable. Whatever you want, they can make it, including lettuce wraps and neopolitan milkshakes.

Visit an Amoeba music and browse around, they've got plenty of cool stuff in there, and for cheap. Definitely look to eat some authentic Mexican cuisine while you're there. Hitting up a beach is also a good idea, even if you don't like beaches. Los Angeles has so much stuff to do, but it's best experienced by taking your time and enjoying the weather.

I saw UCLA's campus. Ridiculous. That is the biggest recruiting advantage I've ever seen. I ate at In-n-Out Saturday night, and unfortunately I wasn't very hungry so I only got a cheeseburger and the interesting concoction of animal style fries. I'm with family, so we are doing all the touristy stuff--Griffith Observatory was pretty neat. The Grove is a cool shopping area. We are staying in Manhattan Beach, so I have frequented the beach as much as I can. It's a pretty nice area, from what I have seen. Where is Universal Citywalks at???
