for the first time in a long time ...

Post#1 » by jazzy_jeff » Tue Feb 24, 2009 6:31 am

...I did some scoreboard watching tonight.

And I didn't like what I saw

Even in the Suns start playing, say ,600, who in front of them can they catch?

Someone give me reason to believe!

For the first time in a long time, I'm starting to wish the Suns DON'T make the playoffs, and somehow pull a Bulls of '08 and get a top 2 pick and get Griffin or Thabeet.

with our luck, we'll never get those ping pong balls going our way this year...

but next year, after giving our unprotected pick, if we somehow miss the playoffs i'm certain this pick will be #1.

Thabeet just started playing organized basketball a few years ago, and has remarkably improved every one of his stats from last year to this year. He is 7'3 and takes instruction very well.

I would tank for him.

Oh, Griffin wouldn't be bad either :) However I do get a sense of Beasley 2.0 from him.

Thabeet if he puts on 20lb...watch out

Griffin...I dunno...I kept thinking he'd slow down after that torrid start but he hasn't...Seems to be a better shotblocking Boozer with better athleticism

Thankfully, the heart of a Nash, O'Neal and maybe Hill, Richardson, Barbosa and the rest of 'em Suns wouldn't allow that kind of spirit to rub off on them.

It's called not quitting.

Some fans just a little to fickle sometimes........always quick to be negative.........show some support people, even if we don't do well well the rest of the season, they are still our team.......

+1. Regardless of how this season turns out (again we're only 4 games out of the 4th seed) this team will always be my team. I was born into Phoenix Suns basketball.

No... this is Sarver's team.... he and Kerr took it away from us... and it is unlikely they will bring it back in the same condition

Like I said in the other thread, if you are so down on "OUR" team, switch to another that makes you happy..... I mean, it is what it is, this is our team, good, bad, or otherwise..........support or switch........

Asking Frank not to be cynical is like asking Sarver to be a smart owner...

Despite a somewhat encouraging win tonight, I was closely watching the other scores -- and both Dallas and New Orleans pulled out narrow wins :banghead:
