You know, it's funny you mentioned 680's thought on why he came back to ATL early.
I thought the SAME exact thing. I was like, "normally, when a player has a sickness or death in his family, like Flip Murray's case last week, the ball club will say that the player is out due to a family emergency....not personal matters." Maybe it was "personnel matters" instead.
Cause Rick Sund traveled with the team out West...something that he rarely does. He only travels with the team when they go West....so I'm sure he pulled Josh aside after the Utah game and was like....
"Look, when we get to the airport.....you can go ahead and hop aboard the Delta midnight "red eye" flight to ATL....and we will talk when I get back. The league probably won't suspend you, but your actions are detrimental to the team right now....so, we will keep it "in house" and suspended you for tomorrow's game."
Smoove's on the hot seat....and unless he plays out of his mind these last 25 games...Sund may try to get rid off him because his on-the-court antics have been down right ugly as of late. And we actually played better as a unit without him and his constantly pouting to the refs.
