Dark tints, a tail light out, 'suspicious vehicle', loud exhaust, loud music are all things cops use as excuses to pull you over.

If its a 22 year old black guy in a nice car, driving late at night, the tints give them an excuse for why they pulled him over initially, then once they have him pulled over they can start the 'I smell alcohol, when was your last drink?' routine.

I actually got pulled over for having a 'suspicious vehicle' this past weekend. I was driving my roommates 2005 honda accord home from the bar because he was too drunk too. Yes the most popular car in America (if not Camry) was a 'suspicious vehicle.' No tints, no rims, subs bumping, nothing. I asked what the problem was and I was told I was driving a suspicious vehicle. Translation: there are two twenty-something in a car with fitted hats on driving at 3 AM. I got breathalyzed and passed the test, but this sort of thing is very common.

You shouldnt drink and drive, what Gabe did was wrong if he was over the limit. But he may have been driving perfectly fine and been in control, cops will use anything as an excuse to **** with you and get you take field sobriety tests, a breathalyzer, or search your vehicle.

Sucks for him that this happened, and he may've been a victim of profiling, but if he hadnt been over the limit there would be nothing they could do to him like what happened to me, so its no ones fault but his own.

While everyone deserves a mulligan on occasion this is a really bad move by someone who has yet to even solidify himself as a backup.

I know this too well! I got pulled over for driving my 92 GSR and got pulled over by a State Trooper because there was a supposed report of a "similar" car street racing, granted my car is a very unique in many ways, but he still ran me through the ropes (even looked at my engine to make sure it was legit) and had my license and registration for like 20 mins in the car prob looking for something to get me with. Cops are pricks!

I don't blame him. He just lost all of his minutes to Stephon Marbury. Go drink away your problems, kid.
