Whoever came up with the team defense concept needs to be shot. It makes it too easy for 2 or 3 people in the league to draft elite defenses and sit on them the whole season. You can put in multiple defenses in smaller leagues to add a little strategy to them, but then you're kind of ruining whole notion of fantasy football.

People just throw hissy fits about IDP leagues because they're not used to them. It's not brain surgery. Even if you don't want to do the research yourself, there's enough websites out there that rank defensive players to give you a basic idea of what you're doing.

sup guys,

didn't get to do the live draft, but my team actually isn't that bad.

I'm just lookin' for a better rb for my second slot. right now i have Morency, who would have been the starter if not for his injury.

anyway, if anyone wants to trade, i need a running back.

also, my team name is the T.O.verdose. :D

I'll never understand why people draft corners in IDP leagues.

Cover 2 WLB's, MLB's, 3-4 OLB's and box safeties are the way to go.

Because of seasons like Asante Samuel's 2006. There is some value there; you just need to luck into it.

i think you're right about IDP HCYanks, but i prefer drafting defenses even though 99% of the time i never draft a top 3 defense.

McGahee's a great pick at 17. Billick is going to run him until he self-combusts.

Probably but he'll still average under 4 YPC and he'll have about 5 scores.

Fantasy wise it really doesn't matter what is ypc is at, but 5 scores sure would be a disappointment.

Man, I got wrecked by putting too many defensive players into my Yahoo autodraft. Urlacher-Bulluck-Mike Peterson-Adrian Wilson in rounds 6-9. Brutal. I took like 3 of the first 4 defensive players. Ha.

I wonder what happens when Chad Pennington goes on IR. I have no backup QB.

2-0 son. My IDP's have been getting me a lot of points. Rocky McIntosh for the past two games has gotten me more than 10 each game. Darren Sharper and Lofa Tatupu are really helping out too. :D

Oh, wait. I actually lost because the MNF totals weren't fully tallied.

Someone trade me a QB. Any QB.

I'm willing to trade Joey Porter, John Lynch and Ryan Longwell, looking for a 3rd string WR(real life wise) and a back-up RB, someone like a Chatman, Buckhalter. Back-up quality.

BTW, everyones available for a trade, so negotiable.
