LL Cool Scott wrote:^ I'd like to see that. I wanted us to go after Iavaroni a couple years back (apparently we didn't miss out on much). Mike Woodson is borderline (Please Use More Appropriate Word) and it looks like his team has quit on him, so I fully expect him to get fired this offseason unless we someone get to the second round and give the Celtics or Cavs a strong fight. It would be nice to get rid of the Woodson/Knight stench and try something new. It's not going to make this team a championship contender, but it would make watching this team more enjoyable.

the last few times the Hawks faced the Jazz, Woody put Josh on Okur.... he put one of the NBA's best shotblockers on a great outside shooter?!?!?!?! watching the game, i didn't get mad, i just kept trying to find the logic and i just could not find how an NBA coach, college coach, or even HS coach can do something so void in logic.

the Suns offense was primarily based on the 3pt shot. the offense was so fast that the defense would have little time to set up and the offensive player could take wide open 3pt shots....... and with Bibby, Joe, Evans, and Flip, it could play to the Hawks' advantage.

Harry... you would rather Josh Smith repeatedly get abused by Boozer? Horford would have a much better chance of slowing down boozer than Josh Smith- its not even close.

i finally get it, Mike Woodson's screen name is killbuckner

that is why killbuckner's post are always so void of logic

well Woody, unlike you, i watch the games and have a brain
Josh dominates guys like Boozer. when Josh was on Boozer in last year's ATL/UTH game, the Hawks put up a 20pt lead, then killbuckner, i mean Woody, takes Josh off of Boozer and puts him on Okur (for no reason), and in no time, Hawks loose the lead and the game.

   again killbuckner, another post that is so wrong it is just flat out funny!

Harry- you are the only person here who thinks that Josh Smith "dominates guys like Boozer". You really think that Josh Smith is one of the top 1 on 1 defenders against allstar PF's? Have fun being disconnected from reality. But yeah- way to go having one picture of Josh Smith blocking a boozer shot as if that does anything for your argument. And even more harrylike way to go pulling a box score from when Horford wasn't even on the team to prove yet again that you don't at all understand the argument.

I always thought the Hawks would excel in the S7OL myself.

The Hawks excel in the transition game (Celtics series, anyone?) - they can out run any team in the league, Woody just chooses to operate differently. The Hawks with D'Antoni, they might be a championship contender.
