Mark Madsen
Rich Man - Matt Bonner
Poor Man - Lukasz Obrzut

For those who don't know who Obrzut is I just saw his names on shamsports.com
-Lukasz Obrzut was a very insignificant player in the D-League last year, averaging 3.1 ppg and 2.4 rpg over 38 games with both the Bakersfield Jam and the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. Before that, he spent four very insignificant years with Kentucky, never averaging more than 2.0 ppg and 1.8 rpg. Now, he's in Poland, averaging 5.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.9 fouls per game for the powerhouse that is ISS Sportino Inowroclaw (and by "powerhouse", I mean "team in third last place"). How very insignificant.

I would love Telfair's ceiling to be Rod Strickland, who's one of the more underrated pure PGs of all time. But I question Greg Anthony as his "poor man"... and Anthony played defense. How about Telfair poor man - Tyronne Lue with better passing ability? Or a quicker Brevin Knight?

He has really become a professional over the last year +, though, give him credit for that. He'll always be undersized, but with his quickness he's not a terrible liability on D. If he could only raise that FG%, he could be a very solid starter.

Rich Man - Fat Lever
Poor Man - Shawn Respert

He's thicker than both of them though...

This was a year ago and at the time Telfair had a reputation as a decent defender. I like the Tyronne Lue and Brevin Knight comparisons. A quicker Brevin Knight would be a nice backup PG for us for a long time.

Honestly..How much Pekovic have you seen? How much Millsap have you seen? (*Millsap being an aggressive rebounder and finisher, two traits that are not part of cookie.)

So Pekovic's best case is Jefferson, and Jeffersons best case is Duncan. And Duncan is arguably the best PF to ever play the game, therefore, Pekovic=best player in forever and ever.

I don't really see any similarities besides a mid-range jump shot between Love and Blount. Love is a voracious rebounder, Blount couldn't care less about rebounding...Blount is 7 feet tall and athletic with a low BBIQ and bad hands and Love is undersized and plays below the rim, high BBIQ and soft hands
Thriving on mediocrity since '89.

How about Jamison as a rich man's Gomes?

perhaps...That is closer then many I have seen. I think many of us see Gomes' rich man as Ron artest, but I am not sure he has that kind of long term defensive intensity.
