Why the new roster additions are huge to our playoff success

Here are the top 5 reasons why the additions of Moore and Marbury will help the team all of this is incumbent on Marbury being at least the player he was in the preseason of this year which i dont think is that much of a leap.

1. Steph can actually dribble the ball past the half court line, get to the basket (at least in pre season) and is big enough to bother 2 guards more then house. He can slip into a 20 mpg role rather easily, he gives the 2nd unit someone who can penetrate something they were sorley lacking without TA. House can't D that, he is another shooter who can spread the floor and must be respected, you can't leave him open.

2. The return of Small ball. KG Pierce Ray Steph Rondo= Points you have 3 people who can penetrate 4 out of 5 who are above average shooters from beyond 15 feet, you can sub in house into that lineup and then every person on the floor can shoot well from 20 ft and beyond. very few teams could defend either of those 2 lineups well (for less starter intensive version of this go House, Steph Ray or Pierce Baby and Scal, put Baby in the post, House and scal in opposite corners and run the pick and role with steph and pierce).

3. A 7 footer who can shoot the J, mikki more can spread the floor on the 2nd unit allowing space for Powe or Baby or KG to operate in the post, baby has been trying but more is the better jumpshooter of the 2. A great change of pace from the bruiser perk, Yes mikki moore is alot like mark blount, but guess what mark blount at the vet minimum would have been a great addition to this team because he can spread the floor and b tall, I would like to point out however that MR. moore does not have hands of stone so he is an upgrade from that.

4. 2 more scoring threats off the bench mean more rest for the big 3. If Steph can average 10 and 4 in 20 mpg that would be huge for allowing us to rest our starters who have had to play extra minutes to support a lackluster bench that often could not score.

5. These additions force complacent 2nd uniters to have to fight harder for there minutes....moore intensifies the already hot battle for backup minutes up front, and eddie house will have to step up his game or allow more of his minutes to be taken by marbury, this perceived threat will add to the intensity of an already intense team, youve probably noticed that eddies defense has been a little lacking in effort at times this year, I promise you it wont be any more.

In summation steph has every incentive to be a great citizen and both he and mikki moore fill gapping voids the team had, yes we dont have a true backup 3 but every team has some flaw, these moves greatly upgrade our bench and give us a much stronger shot to beat the cleavlands and LA's of the world.

I think we may have seen the last of House as PG with the addition of Marbury. Also, I think Scal will play more than 8 mpg, but good read. It certainly makes the Cs stronger and deeper.

We're definitely better. No question about that... We may get to see a lot more of "light em up" Eddie now, and less of "suck slow dribbler" Eddie

Stephon has the ability to be a top 6th man with us! This is just like the twilight zone having KG, Ray Allen and Stephon Marbury on the Celtics... Flash back just two years, and who would have thought?

The most important thing is that with Marbury at pg, House plays sg and Tony sf.

No more option for Doc to play House at pg and Tony at sg. That for me is the most important improvement.

Second thing is Marbury can create for himself, a good shooter and more importantly he can take the ball to the basket.

I do not think we will see TA at SF. S. Marbury will be at the 2 spot when not backing up Rondo and Ray Allen will play the SF and so will Scal, depending on matchups.

Your smallball lineup actually has:

4 Penetrators/slashers who can finish (Ray, Paul, Rajon and Steph)

4 Outstanding Shooters (Ray, Paul, KG and Steph). Although KG is limited to 20 feet,
Steph is outstanding out to 20 feet, and just good from beyond 20.

Two Post players (Paul and KG)

Offensively, it's a juggernaut.
And substituting Eddie House for Rajon Rondo makes it 5 outstanding shooters.
