J.R. completely owned Kobe, IMO. He got by him on the offensive end at will, and played exceptional defense on him as well. To me that was the even bigger story of this game then the great night Bird had.

Whatagame.
Birdman was an absolute beast. Seemed like the crowd and the rest of the team was just feeding off his energy.
Couldn't have asked for a better game from the bench.
D was awesome. You could tell everyone was focused and being active. Karl actually praised J.R. for his defense :o
Whatagame.

If the Nuggets play like they did with all the energy and hustle, it's very hard for us to lose. But we all know the Nuggets don't always bring A+++ game every night. It shows that if we want it, we can do it. With the officiating being so horrible we could have gotten frustrated and collapsed, but we kept fighting and fighting. Even when we went down in the 3rd quarter we didn't get frustrated and kept fighting.

I think we had a chance to break the game open, we had a many careless possessions, and missed a lot of open shots that we usually make, especially from 3-point land.

What an awesome game.
Birdman and Jr were both fantastic tonight. It's great to see Jr make such an impact on the game when his 3 point shot isn't falling. And you know he really played well when even Karl is complimenting his defense.

Lol at Corona. That's what you get for betting against the Nuggets.

Fantastic.

Birdman does not fold!

The rotations by Karl made sense too.

Billups, Anthony lead the charge.

J.R. ....best game of the season by far O&D.

Rebounds, yessir, this game was won with the nature of the rebound.

Man, we're seeing a different Melo this season, there was this possession when the ball swung around and he didn't even touch it, and when Nene laid it in he was like pumping his fist "yes!". A season ago, he'd slump and sulk... play no D on the other end.

As long as our best player keeps a positive attitude, Billups, Nene, Birdman keep doing what they're doing, KMart stepping up, J.R. builds his D on this game, we're gonna be good.

Wow. Sucks to be corona. At least you confirmed the Nuggets would get the win tonight by putting money against them. Thank you for sacrificing your bank account.

Birdman was amazing! A double-double with 7 blocks. I'm kicking myself for not picking him up in fantasy.

Congrats to the Nuggets for bringing their A game. The Lakers got in late on a back to back game. The Nuggets need to win games like that if they are going to hold off the Jazz, who are quite frankly looking like maybe the best team in the league right now.
