Feb 27th Hammers: Bobcats Vs Warriors

Post#1 » by BigSlam » Sat Feb 28, 2009 6:12 am

Image - Felts. Apart from the obvious, he played a very, very, very good "floor General" type game. While his J was on tonight, it's his drives of late that I think have shown the greatest improvement.

Image - Boris. Could go a number of ways with this, but I went with Boris - in part because of "the shot", but outside of that I thought he was more aggressive tonight, plus his D was pretty good too.

Image - Radman. I'm going with him again. He showed he could score in a variety of ways, he played good D and if he hadn't blown some easy shots (a dunk and a layup) he would have had 15pts.

Highlight of the night: Is there any question? THAT'S the way you try and win a game. Get everyone involved and find the guy with the open shot. GREAT drive by Felts. GREAT extra pass by Raja. GREAT shot by Boris.

Gold - Felton - one of his best games this season. I think we've only lost one or two games if he scores 20+. He started the game being in on all be 2 of our first quarter points. Awesome play down the stretch, he schooled Watson all night. I bet GS will be bidding on Felton this summer. :(

Silver - Boris - CLUTCH SHOT. Not sure what he was doing with the foul, but I feel like with the way Jackson was dropping shots anyway, might as well give ourselves some time to hit our own shot.

Bronze - Okafor - got schooled in the 3rd but man, he came up big down the stretch with rebounds, tap outs, and most importantly of all that FT.

I like the decision by LB, he clearly told his guys to look for a 3 to win it... I like that move on the road in this situation. Excellent choice.

Gold: Boris

Silver: Crash

Bronze: Okafor

No way in hell I give Ray crap tonight. Too many TO's for my PG, and I am sick of his needing to shoot the ball every time it touches his hands in the final minute. 4 shots, and 1 make. Penetrate, set your players up and pass the damn ball!

Gold- Diaw: +7 in 42 mp, 3 rebs, 2 blocks, 4 steals, 5 dimes and he drained the game winner.

Silver- Felton: Abused CJ Watson.

Bronze- Okafor: Wallace, Radmanovic, Bell and Diop (in that order) deserve mention here, but in the end I have to throw a point Mek's way. Radman's length was crucial on the winning defensive stand and he was very efficient in his bench minutes, that last part is true of Diop as well. I think he protected the paint well, many of Biedrins points were uncontested from poor defensive communication/switching. Tough decision.

3. Diaw - Hit the game winner
2. Felton - Besides the TOs, played a huge part in our win
1. Okafor - Came out well in the end

HM Diop - One of his best games as a Bob in 18 minutes shot 4-4, grabbed 4 boards, blocked 3 shots and played strong D

Gold - Felton...pretty outstanding game. Final play was a work of art.

Silver - Boris...he looked SO efficient! Passed a little too much a couple of times (and that foul on Jackson...LOL!). What a freaking clutch shot at the end

Bronze - Vlad...Boy were we fooled on his supposed lack of defense. His guarding the out of bounds play was simply fantastic. He drove and pulled up for a midrange, hit from outside and played pretty fair man D when he was in...Jack for most of the game was just sick.

HM - Gana...THAT'S how you're supposed to play against SFs masquerading as Cs. A couple of plays he defended the pick and roll like a champion.

Gold - Felton .... I'm starting to appreciate him a lot more.

Silver - Diaw ..... Idiot to hero in 10 seconds or less.

Bronze - Diop ..... Better than Mek on the D end.

HM - Radman .... Great game but I think he can play even better.
