Guesses:
Sheed (why would Detroit help us out?)
McDyess (wouldn't that be funny)

Now my real guess
Drew Gooden
Is Larry Hughes having fun yet?

Sheed is probably the "surprise player".

I think we'll end up with Joe Smith, and Sheed will stay with the Pistons.

Joe Smith would be great. Anything else and it is just gravy.

If it's Gooden, then that isn't a mystery surprise at all.

Just a hunch, but I think its Iverson. Pistons are playing worlds better without him right now, including beating the Celtics (or about to). I don't think it would be an attitude thing, but more just allowing Hamilton to start and no where else to put him. Just a guess.

I'm hoping it's Joe Smith and we get him... And if that is indeed the case, thank goodness Ferry held out and had zero interest in Mikki Moore.

The guy is terrible..

Mikki Moore is cancer.. I can't believe that some Cavs fans actually wanted him.

Oh and I don't think it's AI. Windhorst said it is a forward.

For what it's worth:

Gooden buyout coming? – Drew Gooden has said he is happy to be in Sacramento.

The question now, however, is whether he would be happier somewhere else.

According to sources with knowledge of the situation, the recently acquired forward from Chicago has had recent discussions with the Kings regarding a possible buyout of the remaining portion of his expiring contract ($7.1 million this season).

Gooden really isnt that much of a surprise.

Not to mention the fact that I really dont think anyone in the organization wants his hollow stats and boneheaded mistakes back. I've had quite enough of The Drew Gooden Show, thank you very much.
