Gentry really should re-think starting Hill at PF. Abeit he is our best defender, but I think Barnes should get the start at PF, he is much less frail than Grant who has been injury prone for just about all of his career including last years playoff series against the Spurs. I'd feel much better with Barnes banging down low with the bigs.

Another point to be known is Hot Spots...
http://www.nba.com/hotspots/
I was looking at this earlier, and when looking at Matt Barnes for this Season, his "Hot Spots" are mostly on the left interior. Wheras Hill's hotspots are more so fit playing the 3. This makes more logical sense if this is going to be a more offensive oriented team anyway.

With that said, and Barnes getting the start today, I hope Gentry plays him at the 4, and Hill at the 3.

yeah, I'm just not so sure Hill can last the rest of the season starting at the 4 there is just too great of an injury risk IMO. Barnes should be starting at the 4 even with Nash in the line-up, something like Nash-Barbosa-Richardson-Barnes-Shaq, with Hill coming off the bench making sure things don't go to complete **** when Nash sits.

Edit:
Also they should lock Barnes in a room with nothing but a TV and Dennis Rodman footage.

"Oh, boy. All right," Gentry moaned.

It was Suns athletic trainer Aaron Nelson saying Nash's ankle was too tender to play today. Now, the Suns will try to beat the Lakers with the same crew that lost to them by 26 on Thursday. The only difference is Gentry will stick with the starting lineup he used Friday, putting Matt Barnes at power forward and moving Grant Hill back to small forward.

The Suns are 3-5 this season without Nash and 7-18 without him since the 2004-05 season.

"Remember the Alamo," Gentry said. "They held them off two weeks. We just go to hold them off for 48 minutes."

Love AG's comment about the Alamo.

Just got in -- why no Nash? Everything indicated he was going to play today.
Hopefully he'll be good for road trip?

MUST win this game. Mavs have a very winnable game tonight. If Suns lose, they could hit the road 3 games out of the playoffs.
And with their schedule coming up, and how well the teams in front of them are playing, they could be half-a-dozen games back before we know it.
