Will they make it? No. Do I want them to? NO! There's still time to get back in the Tavares/Hedman race. As much as a playoff run would be exciting for the fans, a potential superstar would be much better for the long-term good of the franchise.
We'll see on Wednesday whether Burke has the long-term in mind, or if he goes for the short-term gain. I think he's going to do the right thing and trade guys for picks and prospects, and I hope he does!

they can't play to lose..they're actually playing really well and it's entertaining..
I doubt they would get a top ten pick so might as well play Cinderella.. I guarantee you nobody wants to play them in the first round
