OT:Anyone watching the Cavs game?

Post#1 » by MaxwellSmart » Mon Mar 2, 2009 2:19 am

These refs are Horrible----LeBron James gets EVERY call----EVERY ONE-!!!!!!

Did you see that foul at the end of the Half ?..
How about that Jump Ball called when he reached in on Smith ?
No Call when he CLEARLY fouls Horford on a drive!
EVERY time he goes to the hoop---the OUTSIDE refs somehow thinks it's a FOUL on Atlanta!!

and the HAWKS are playing SO Timid---What's up with Joe Johnson,Mike Bibby and Al Horford????

These guys are BADDASSSSES when we play them---but they curl up and hide in the corner against the Mighty Cavs----Wake up you LOSERS-!!!

I thought it was crazy that Doc and a few others seemed resigned to the fact that we were losing this game.

Any chance it's more than a coincidence that all three lost on the same day? It doesn't affect their relative positioning. Well maybe a little, considering that that's one fewer game for which the Celts can close the gap.

but could it be some kind of antitrust/competition thing.. the league definitely doesn't want 3 66+ win teams.

Hawks disintegrating before my eyes----had this game WON..........Anderson Varejao becoming my MOST hated player----but still behind Kenyon Martin.

terrible ..... Cleveland just doesnt impress me with all the calls they get. Lebron is a text book travel every time he touches the ball.

REFS make sure that Clev will have homecourt Adv against us-----that's at least 3 games they have GIVEN them a win-----while taking 4-5 games AWAY from us-----NBA: "Where Kobe vs. LeBron Happens"-----cause we WILL make sure of it---!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a load of crap.
Joe Johnson takes it to the rim 3 times in the last minute, lots of contact, no call.
Lebron drives weakly to the rim, draws minimal--if any--contact from Horford and gets the foul with 1.6 seconds left. Cavs win by 1.
Are you kidding me? Paul or Ray never get that call.

More shady calls that go Lebron's way. Can't wait to see what kind of phantom calls Lebron gets this Friday. And what's it going to be like in the ECF? Are the officials going to single-handedly put Cleveland in the Finals? Just a disgusting experience all around...from the Detroit game to this crap.

Had a feeling the Hawks were going to lose the 7 point lead with a few minutes left.

Anderson Varejao's game is like the antithesis of the type of basketball I like to watch. Just flopping all over the court hoping to draw a foul every time. When he falls it's completely unnatural, and calculated with the utmost precision. If you watch replays you can see him gearing up to dive to the ground when anyone gets near him. He gives the Cavs such a huge advantage because they essentially can create turnovers whenever they want, just by having Varejao do this. And, of course, every time LeBron dribbles to the hoop it's an automatic beep of the whistle, whereas the same rules don't apply to Joe Johnson.

What are you talking about? He got that call, he got the last call, he got every call he wanted, basically. That last foul was crap considering it was the end of the game and Joe Johnson was getting bodied everytime he drove to the rack. It was one of those calls where the officials anticipate the contact before it happens. And they do it all the time for Lebron.
