Could use someone to back up Yao. But if the Spurs want Gooden the Spurs will get him.

I'd take Gooden just so the Spurs wouldn't have him

lol, good point. The Stro show had come and gone in Houston and I think Gooden wold be a good player to have off the bench. He's bigger than both Landry and Chuck, but when Chuck is on the floor playing Gooden at C wouldn't be a bad idea considering chuck is a complete liability on offense.

I'd take Swift over James White. At least Swift has NBA experience which could prove to be valuable in the playoffs (if either of them get to play).

Joe Smith is available too. Let sign one of them so we can put 5 PFs on the floor at the same time and create mismatch all over the court.

Scola, Landry, Hayes, Dorsey, Cook (how many PF do we need?)

Technically speaking there's no more live game. After Janet Jackson stuff in SuperBowl, all live broadcast are delayed by 7 seconds.

Yeah, I know, but I'm trying to be nice. Actually, adding 2 and 2, I bet you dunleavyjr is really dunleavysr, who is just a fan of his son so he made that his nick and posts on the Rockets board since Mike and Battier are best buds, he played here, and it's not as obvious who he is that way (if he posted on the Clippers board, all 3 of their posters would know right away). It's all clear now! :D

Adding a known lazy bonehead to your strongest position just for the hell of it, in a move that (granted I've lost track of our tax position but would assume we're still close to it) puts you over the tax as an added bonus, does tend to make the team better... um, sometimes... in theory.

I do like your idea though, max.

Lol no thanks to Stromile Swift, but we could definitely use Gooden off the bench. Like Iggy said though, if the Spurs want him then the Spurs are going to get him.

Gooden would be great off the bench honestly. But every decent bought-out player seems to go to either SA or BOS unfortunately.

Which is what I did. Do you think I actually typed all that mess? But while copy and pasting, I decided to hit the "submit" button.
