Reading these lists made me sick.

But, what really bothers me is who he pickd for the Big 10 Champ: Penn State.

Ugh.....I hate ESPN analysts.

I find his hard-on for Cal pretty disturbing. As I do Oklahoma winning the Big 12 (not happening).

I'll pick it apart more later.

which of the cal picks do you disagree with? its all offense, and cal's offense is loaded.

Well, it starts with Nate Longshore. I don't see how he's any different from Derek Anderson, which isn't necessarily bad but it doesn't make him a top-6 pocket passer in the nation. I'd have a hard time believing he's in the top 10.

DeSean Jackson I've commented on ad nauseum; again, overrated but a threat, and Manningham is the best WR in college football, period.

Alex Mack? Really? Top center in the entire nation? I'm gonna have to look into that.

Forsett's pretty good, but he's gotta shoulder the load for Cal and unless Tedford has another change-of-pace back at his disposal, Forsett could have some bad games. But I like him, so we'll see.

(this is going off memory...) longshore, as a soph with about 1.5 quarters of playing time under his belt, was a 3 time pac10 player of the week, was 2nd in the conference in passer rating, and had about twice as many tds as ints. anderception was the classic million dollar arm 10 cent head guy until his senior year. he'd put up years with like 24 tds 23 ints. (after his senior year anderson was drafted and i think he's still on an nfl roster so he's not all that bad anyway)

longshore is also the first 100% tedford qb and is entering his 2nd year as a starter. he had some down games toward the end of last year but had an injury that hindered his throwing at the time. he was put at #6 in the classic drop back passer category. it's not like he was at #1 or anything. with the offensive firepower around him, nate should put up some big #s if healthy.

about mack...i don't know enough about offensive linemen nationally to tell if he deserves it. i know mack is on all the watch lists and stuff so it's not a random i-love-cal pick.

well kirk may turn out to be right by the end of the season. i mean every year, there are some teams comin out of nowhere to win the conference. if you are that good like usc, lsu, or florida, it doesnt mean that you are gonna win the conference automatically. penn state do have a good shot to win the big ten. just because wisconsin or michigan is the favorite doesnt mean they will win the conference. anything can happen. its not like kirk picked indiana to win the big ten or stanford to win the pac 10. kirk does know what hes talking about. at least his picks do make some sense. he may be wrong or yall may be wrong so just shut up

Oklahoma is going to take the Big 12. DeMarco Murray is going to get better as the season progresses.

P.J. Hill nowhere to be found on the " Next Wave" list of top running backs.

You fail horribly Kirk.

the only questions they had was at QB and it looks like those questions might be answered i see oklahoma walking over the big 12 and potentially an undefeated team. here's to hoping we have another 3 undefeated teams.

I'll give you this, stud, I didn't think Oklahoma would destroy Miami quite like they did...and oh man, did they ever. I also didn't think Texas would suck this much, but I'll come to terms with myself if they can't get it done.
