Joe Johnson takes it to the rim 3 times in the last minute, lots of contact, no call.
Lebron drives weakly to the rim, draws minimal--if any--contact from Horford and gets the foul with 1.6 seconds left. Cavs win by 1.
Are you kidding me? Paul or Ray never get that call.

More shady calls that go Lebron's way. Can't wait to see what kind of phantom calls Lebron gets this Friday. And what's it going to be like in the ECF? Are the officials going to single-handedly put Cleveland in the Finals? Just a disgusting experience all around...from the Detroit game to this crap.

You are RIGHT ON THE MONEY my friend----The ref blew the whistle even before the contact happened----but Joe Johnson gets whacked 3 times--nope!!

Worse yet, the contact that did happen didn't warrant a foul being called. In those end-of-game situations, the refs usually swallow their whistles...unless Lebron is involved.

Yeah---cause that ref was DETERMINED to get LeBron to the line on that final play---AT LEAST let the play actually HAPPEN before you blow the Whistle guy-!!!

Actually, it was because LeBron got FOULED.

If the refs were so determined to make sure Cleveland wins, they would have called the BLATANT push when Horford pushed LeBron HARD the play before that.

They also wouldn't have given Granger FT's with .1 second remaining a few weeks back in Indiana.

Your argument is terrible, Pierce gets some of the most ridiculous preferential treatment during the 4th quarter that I've ever seen.

Anderson Varejao's game is like the antithesis of the type of basketball I like to watch. Just flopping all over the court hoping to draw a foul every time. When he falls it's completely unnatural, and calculated with the utmost precision. If you watch replays you can see him gearing up to dive to the ground when anyone gets near him. He gives the Cavs such a huge advantage because they essentially can create turnovers whenever they want, just by having Varejao do this. And, of course, every time LeBron dribbles to the hoop it's an automatic beep of the whistle, whereas the same rules don't apply to Joe Johnson.

It's still 17 to 11!!!!

It's true about Varejao. I mean, I think the guy has become a pretty good player, but he's like Chris Gatling out there-- more flop per pound than any player not named Ginobili. In fact, he might be more Manu-re than Manu!

But seriously folks, that foul where Horford got called for pushing Varejao--- AV flung his own head back so hard that he cracked heads with LeBron. You could on the replay that Horford shoved him a little in the chest and Varejao got all drama queen on us. Too bad, I like him as a big man and even wanted to draft him a few years back, but flop-meisters get old real quick-- at least when they're not on your team!
