OT:Cavs vs Heat....

Post#1 » by MaxwellSmart » Tue Mar 3, 2009 2:56 am

Heat were up 11 with 7:30 to go----and immediately give up a 18-2 run to BLOW this game------of course Varejao did his share of FLOPPING to help out.......are the Cavs this good?....Last night the Hawks BLEW that game.......C's and Cavs should be tied in the loss column---but the rest of the league SUKKKS

---it wasn't bad enough that Popovich rested Duncan when the Cavs came to town---the last two teams roll over and die with leads in their own buildings----maybe the Cavs are this good.

it was like watching a BAD joke for 3 minutes---the HEAT Totally DISINTEGRATED....like they were throwing the game---realy awful---I didn't think it was possible for a team to give away a game that easily---like a high school girls team playing the Cavs.

Did Wade and LeBron go to the line simultaneously?

No Kidding-----Hawks AND Heat totally GAVE AWAY BOTH games-----and Popovich Handed you a win by resting Duncan---but, hey you guys took advantage and won them.

".......are the Cavs this good?"

When we play shutdown D like in the 4th quarter tonight we are. Unfortunately it seems we've been waiting till the end of the past 2 games to decide to play this type of defense. This will not work against you guys in the playoffs, as we'll need as close to a 48 minute effort as possible.

I can't wait till Friday, it should be electric.

Would've been nice for that ref to ACTUALLY give the Heat the timeout they were SCREAMING for---instead of the ill-advised half court heave/Clev fast break.

 I think MaxwellSmart deserves his own OT: NBA thread. Every time I come on here, he is infuriated with a game, whether it be the refs or just bad play.

I'm assuming you have league pass?

Yes---League Pass.......Actually I blame myself---example....Sunday-I watch the C's game-they LOSE......I DON'T watch the Lakers Game-They LOSE-----I turn on the Cavs game Late---and they Make a remarkable Comeback & WIN (helped by some shady reffing)----Tonight, I turn on the game late in the 4th--Miami has a BIG Lead---and then proceed to choke it away----so, every game I watched turned out the OPPOSITE of what I wanted----the ONLY game I don't watch---turns out the way I wanted it to....I'm a friggin JINX.----that's why I'm always infuriated here.!

L-M-A-O! Shut down defense? Hahahahah! You guys doubled Wade the whole 4th and his team missed WIDE OPEN shots. I wouldn't call that good D, I'd call that playing 5 on 1. Haslem missed 3 WIDE OPEN layups! Are you kidding me? I hope you play that type of "defense" against the Cs because I know our bigs can actually make shots.

Cavs are a great team----but most of their "Shutdown Defense" consisted of Varejao FLOPPING and Zyndrunas hacking.

It actually consisted of blitzing Wade, and rotating/meeting people at the basket to force tough shots without fouling.
