He's been light's out so far this season in the NBDL, for what it's worth.

Here's an article from a few weeks ago talking about his development. He's much more than just a dunker now. Whether he can crack your rotation this late in the season is a different issue.

He'll get a couple of chances to show Adelman what he can do. Depending on how he does,he'll either be buried on the bench,or he will get some spot minutes starting 2,4Qs.
The Rockets don't really have a backup for Battier. Artest is getting the bulk of his minutes at the SG,and the rest at the 4. Barry and Wafer together are not good defensively-to put it mildly.

Don't know if it was injury-related or other reasons, but did you'll notice Lowry got Wafer's minutes at SG in Second Half?

This was my first thought when I read this. The team has some serious problems with controlling the defensive boards at times, in particular when Yao is out, that having somebody like White in practice will allow them to work on.

He's the new Gerald Green!
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

In a league that prides itself in developing players, no one player has shown as much improvement this season as NBA D-League All-Star James White of the Anaheim Arsenal . The 6’7” White is second in the league in scoring with 25.8 points per game and has scored 20 or more points in 21 consecutive games. White will be one of four players participating in the D-League's Slam-Dunk Contest on Friday night, as well as the D-League All-Star game on Saturday afternoon (NBA TV, 4 PM EST).

“Coach [Sam] Vincent put me in a role as being one of the primary scorers on the team”, said White. “I’m getting shots up and just looking for my shot more, which I’ve really never been able to do on any other team I played for.”

The trust placed upon him by Vincent has paid off for White and the Arsenal, as he has connected on 55.5% of his shots and 40% from behind the arc. Assistant Coach Paul Mokeski agrees, “Every game I look up, he’s got 30 points.”

Seen it on CF and thought it was a good read.

Chron.com doesn't show him on the roster. Is he signed or are they still planning on signing him or did it all fall through?

Hopefully he can contribute somewhat, he's signed to play some spot up minutes at the 2 and 3 when Artest/Battier/Wafer is resting
