If you guys think that Westbrook might be better at SG, would you guys be interested in Baron Davis to play to his fellow Bruin in the back court.

How about Watson/Wilkins for Baron?

No thanks Baron is simply not worth the contract he signed. Sure it would be nice to have Baron in the back court today but not for the 14.85mil you'd have to pay for the guy during the season of 2012/13 when the guy is 34 years old. That contract is a team wrecker. Especially when the kids will be needing big pay raises in the off season of 2012.

The dude already has one bad wheel. It's moments before the other tire goes flat for Baron Davis.

He is sitting on one of the worst contracts in the NBA.

By now you all know Westbrook had a triple double. Yes, Westbrooks FG% is a bit distressing but Lebron had .417 his rook year and Jobes had 4 season under 440 and 2 under 430. Westbrook is an enigma right now, like Durant, no one man can guard him and his speed and tenacity is just difficult to prepare for. Im glad he didnt just chuck it up all night. A triple double as a rookie is nothing to sneeze at.

WOW westbrook has frustrated me alot in the past few weeks , but I am not ready to think about moving him from PG.

I think he's got "it" we just need some patience.

I pray everynight we dont get Rubio! Everyone is jizzing themselves about him, but more than likely he'll be drafted and never get to the NBA as his Buyout is prohibitive.

I just looked up chauncey billups FG% and was startled. I watched him win the MVP in the FInals for teh pistons and I never knew his lifetime FG% is .416. WIth 5 years of under .400. Now I dont find that desirable, however hes a proven winner and there arent too many teams that wouldnt love them on their team. If Westbrook can improve his shot to 440 next year, he'll be a beast. All his number will jump vastly. If that get Griffin or Thabeet (WHo I still think can be a defensive force) he assist will go up too with their expected high FG%. He'll be more mature, more comfortable and know the floor much better and stop relying so much on his extraordinary athleticism.

I say his numbers next year are:
18 Pts
7.5 asst
6.0 rebounds
440 Fg (Up from 405)
335 3pt (Up from 290)

lAst 5 games:
24, 7. 5.8, (ugh, 4.6 turnovers)

I think the only thing holding the Thunder back next year is going to be turnovers.

The difference between Billups and Westbrook is FGA per game
Billups was only 9.4
Westbrook currently is over 13.3
Again if he took 4 less shots I see him looking alot better

westbrook is a beast. westbrook has surpassed all expectations this year but a big margin. if anyone told me hed be this good this quick and presented me with his numbers i would have said yeah in year 3 but hes doing it now so imagine how good he will be in year 3. hell even next year.

He signed up just a few days ago, seemingly with the intent of ripping Westbrook. Some of his observations have been spot on, but still exaggerated. Not braking any rules though, so there's no reason to silence his opinion (at least I don't think so).

Oh trust me it's hard.

I know Stanly feels that somehow he lifted this board up from the ashes of hell with his contribution.

I'd argue he sends more posters away from this forum now.

Has this thread changed from our dilemma with Westbrook to our dilemma with KD_Stan?

I don't hate you. Though I must admit I question whether many of your viewpoints are truly genuine or merely contrived to bait and provoke others. Not that there is necessarily anything wrong with that .... or is there? I do find your posts entertaining though to say the least, so thank you for that :lol:
