The Suns should get as many athletic slashers as possible to help cover for Shaq and Nash.

I think stevieboy from the nets board had it first, but whatever. Hopefully Swift will be able to contribute to the Suns. I hope he'll be able to concentrate on basketball when he's on the court because he was devestated by the loss of his mom.

I'd be pretty happy with a Swift pickup. He's a legit NBA big, though not a good one, and we can only get away with Barnes at the 4 against so many teams. I'd prefer Joe Smith, but let's be realistic -- Cleveland wants him, he's played there before, and they probably have quite a bit more money to offer. So I'm willing to settle for Swift. I haven't seen him play this year, but at 29, he should still have most of his athleticism, and I think he's a pretty decent fit for our team.

Barbosa can help console him since he went through the same thing this year.

Adonal Foyle got waived too, if we can give him less than 1mil a year i think he would be a decent big too. At least help us box people out.

Believe its a 48 hour waiver period from the time the player is released.

His age is really irrelevant because he has low miles. He should play at a higher level under the Suns.

I hope the league understands that that's pure torture!

Whatever happened to db? ihateginobili is taking over his job.

Swift is a decent pickup. I hope he comes in with the right attitude.

--- what's the deal if we grab MWiliams? Can he play the reg season and just not the playoffs? Should be worth a shot. I liked the kid and he's still cheap contract

---- Ahem ...

No, we not talking no playoffs. Just a question about the whole mar 1 deadline. Can a player waived/bought out play in reg season games after mar 1 or is he barred form them as well as playoffs?
