#2 Would You Do......

Post#1 » by Gremz » Tue Mar 3, 2009 8:25 am

Hmmm, seemed to get a decent response with the last one, let's try another.

Would You Do:

Jeff Foster for a 2009 1st, If it is 18+ ??

Ah, you're right. It should be around 18+ Would be more realistic.

By 18+ do you mean higher draft pick, or lower?

If it was near the end of the first round I'd say no, because this draft doesn't have the depth. If we could get a higher draft pick I'd probably do it.

No, Jeff Foster is the heart of this team and a fan favorite. There is a reason teams were offering a 1st round pick for him, he is a valuable assets that I do not feel comfortable shipping out.

There's 5 other players I'd ship out before Foster, easily, and 5 more where I'd be going ....eh......

I wouldn't in this years draft, but would have last year.

Jeff Foster is a fan favorite...but the guy has sucked this year. He hasn't been nearly effective and fouls like Roy Hibbert now. I love the guy, but would I trade him for a 1st round pick in a deep draft? Absolutely.

My thoughts exactly. It's painful watching him hack at people, not to mention he can't seem to NOT turn the ball over when it's in his hands these days. I love the guy for all the years he's given us but he has been a deteriorating asset all season long. And when you're already living off of your hustle and not your talent, that is a definite indicator that the end is very near.

If we trade away Foster, then we are giving the keys to the bus to Hibbert... I like Roy, but i dont know if I would want to rely on him for 30+ minutes next year...

Foster has been fouling too much lately also.

Sorry if it was not clear. I did mean 18-30 as the range.

Yeah, but his fouls are a little smarter than Hibbert's.
