You gotta do better then that bro! Facing the Jazz makes me wish Tracy was still himself :( Also Artest MUST LOOK TO ATTACK FIRST, they have a weak front court defense, it can easily be destroyed, T-Mac averaged 28/7/7 against them, Artest needs to power his ass in there!

I wonder if Boozer and Battier still friends through the Jazz / Rockets rivalry.

Can't wait......Artest vs Matt Harpring

Its also amazing when you see other game threads and they say "we should win because no T-mac or Rafer".................................. Ya no injured T-mac playing with 1 leg and at this point Rafer and AB/Lowry is a wash (we gotten younger at the PG position)

I also hope Utah Fronts Yao the whole game.

Utah has won 8 in a row, and against some very good teams, we've got to come out of the gate STRONG. Like I said, instead of taking shots, Artest needs to drive and power his way for more penetration because the Jazz without Milsap in the lineup have a very weak front court defensively, it can easily be disrupted.

Yao needs to make sure he has a GOOD game, he's got to try and find a way around the fronting, Boozer shouldn't be causing that many problems with Landry/Scola being able to hit that mid range jump shot so that liability issue hopefully isn't going to be a problem. Bargs tonight was a perfect test of a center that stretched the floor, Okur is going to do that to allow Boozer to take advantage down low. We've just got to rotate like we did on strong stretches tonight and make sure we don't let Okur or Boozer go around for easy baskets.

Personally I'm scared of Deron, Brooks/Lowry haven't been all that bad, and against some of the more athletic point guard (aside from the breakdown in the 4th against Rose) they've done a pretty good job, Deron is athletic and bigger/more physical, it's definitely going to be a tough test for both of them. Brewer is another, now that we've got Ron starting, we can put Battier on him, but Brewer has been absolutely ON FIRE this past month (one of the top 5 shooting guards).

It's going to be a real big test, this is the team I'm afraid of the most, but we've got to win this game, we're in 3rd place in the standings and we can't let the Jazz break into the top 4 and get as much leverage as possible for that 3rd place, and get close to the 2nd that SA holds. Let's **** these dudes up, this ones for Tracy :)

I hate the jazz, but I have them winning this one. Coming off on a long road trip and a back to back going to Utah.. Hopefully we can keep it close all game and make a run to close it out. Looking forward to see Lowry and Artest perform. Also hope the refs officiate fairly tonight, we all know how much they let the Jazz get away with at their home. It's downright disgusting between that and their all nba floppers they got on there.

This game is pretty much gonna be like the Raptors'.
Like Bargnani, Okur will have tons of open looks from the perimeter and 3point line.
Yao won't, can't go out to contest the shots.

Keep Williams out of the lane, make Boozer take mid range jumpers, and take care of the ball = win. I don't care how ugly the end score is, as long as there is a W next to it. This game will stay sub 100 for both sides.

We've played a lot in the last few days though. I wouldn't be suprised to see Deke on the floor for 10 plus minutes.

And I think landry will go off his nut again. I think you're going to hear that a lot from me. Time to start looking in investing in a new Landry Jersey. (Sniff) now that I have had to retire Skip's.

Some questions:

Boozer is not yet 100%, so maybe he won't go off against us?

Would Deron dominating be as bad as we are making it out to be, if he doesn't get his team-mates involved?

Will Chuck Hayes get some PT?

I can see Landry playing a big role, and Scola's been rolling of late.

Gonna be tough to win this; a game in Utah at this stage would be considered a 'bonus' win to me and boost the spirits of the team.

Well we're playing a road game on the back end of a back-to-back vs a good Utah squad at their place. Odds not looking good but hoping for a good game.

I'm interested to see how this Rockets team will play against the Jazz. Utah used to just run multiple defensive looks at Mcgrady and eventually wear him out, but let's see what Adelman has planned for this game.

And guys, as tempting as it may be, please stay away from Utah's boards. If they come over here then we'll deal with it, but don't put yourself in the wrong and make our fanbase look bad by going over to their boards to stir sh*t up. I hate the Jazz just as much as any real Rockets fan, but at the end of the day it just isn't worth it. Thanks.

Yao will kill Boozer.
He had it marked on his calendar - it'll be like a cleveland part 2.
Book it.
