Well, I had nothing to compare to. My birthday started at Roscoes in Hollywood.. DECENT food, expensive chicken. I then started to walk through hollywood admiring the costumes and the stars. I took a pick on top of Chick Hearn's star. After visiting the Kodak theater I went to Staples!

Got pictures with the Magic statue and staples center all around. Doors opened at 6:00 and i Scrambled into my seat. Sat there watching Farmar and Rambis go at it. Farmar made EVERY shot off curls. What giveS!?? Sun Yue had a decent shot too.

20 bucks later, ala girlfriend, we got Soda, Popcorn, Hotdog, and Nachos. She's only 19 she couldn't get booze. I didn't want to miss a minute of the shoot-around so my gf said I'll just have do without the beer. Meh it's alright.

It's so fun cheering for Luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuke. No wonder the guy is a fan favorite. Crowd kept yelling "You're ADOPTED" to Marc, which made me giggle. Everyone said "brick" when sasha got the ball. Which seems to be true, for that night. Kobe surprised be. He completely dominated the game, but I didn't really notice. How strange is that. Kobe was RED hot in the beginning, making his running jumpers and layups. And then there was a series at the end of the 2nd quarter and beginning of the third quarter where he started to chuck the ball. Regardless he got 31 at the end of the third quarter and we didn't see him for the rest of the day.

During the Kiss cam, the ended with Jack and Adam SANDLER! You betcha Adam kissed Jack!

What a fun game though there was no Kobe Fish and Odom in the fourth.

Powell has a nice nice money shot. Sasha is not in the game for his shots, more for his defense, and playmaking. He screen and rolls were very impressive, since no defender can slack on him. The reason sasha bricks so much is because eh doesn't take Wide open shots anymore. He takes it off curls ala Reggie Miller, Kyle Korver, and Rip Hamilton. That doesn't seem to be his game though, since he bricks most of them. Regardless I was screaming for Sasha the whole game, being my favorite player and all.

I told my girlfriend about Ariza and what he does everygame. Sure enough a few mins in he steals the ball into a transition play. That guy is something.

Odom was GREAT! Odom was miserable scoring, but he was so dominant in everything else. A series of multiple blocks in one possession was awesome. He almost got a quad-double if only he played the fourth. His stat line was 2 pts?, 13 rebounds, 8 assist, 6 blocks. Craaazy!. I realize now why Odom's rebounds are so inflated. WHENEVER he gets the rebound, our transition play starts right away. His decision making is not point-guard like, but when he brings it up the Lakers start running. Pretty impressive to see the game in such a manner.

Kobe's defense was not very committing. Though that's probably him challenging Oj Mayo to take the shots. Some running dunks later from Mayo, Kobe popped OJ for two Fade Jumpers which was money. Sasha completely shut down Mayo, who woulda thought.

Worst part of the night was having kids around me, while exicted fans would go. "FU** you Oj MAyo!!" and morons going off on Rudy " Gay " and starts giggling while everyone just puts there head down thinking the guy is a moron.

I finally left the game around 10:15ish.
I then proceeded to leave my Jacket behind after I got to my parking lot 2-3 blocks away. I HAD to walk all the way back to retrieve it which annoyed me greatly, but the great thing was, I manage to find it safely on my seat. So I ran about a mile in the middle of the night after the game. Isn't that great? Traffic was "decent" for LA but I manage to get home in about 35 minutes.

Iono I think my post was pretty random. Ask me any questions!

It sucks being on the East Coast - I'm stuck catching 76ers games, but I did get to see my Lakers last year :) (<3) 12th Row Center Court with Bynum at his peak before injury...

I go again on 4/10 to see the 76ers v Cavs

My advice is just go and relax, have fun, definitely get in around 7 to check out warm-ups. It gives you a chance to get some personality from the players and it's cool watching thing like Brian Shaw, D Fish and (at the time J Critt) playing round the world. You can also get some cool photos then and possibly some autographs.
