Just wondering from a raps fan if you guys would welcome this trade scenario?
CB4 + Jose Calderon for Deron Williams + re-signed Paul Millsapp?

Hard to imagine a "deal" more out of the question than that.

Re: Bosh + Jose for ...
no thank you.
To be fair, this offer isn't as ridiculous as you would think by the replies. However, Deron Williams has achieved the status in this organization where he is basically off limits. The only two players in this league that you would get positive responses on are LeBron and Dwight. Otherwise, there is just too much risk involved for very a reward that probably doesn't have that much upside.
Only player that I would risk losing Deron for would be a bit time shot blocking center who can dominate the boards as well. A Duncan, Shaq, Robinson type young player. Dwight is the only sure thing in the league right now. Oden, if he ever realizes his potential might be another.
And then the freak of nature that is LeBron, obviously. Otherwise, there isn't really another player that would have all the long term things going for him that would justify shaking up what we have now with Deron. Even a player that is "better", such as a Kobe Bryant, Dwayne Wade, Chris Paul, etc etc, would probably not fit into our system as well as Deron Williams does, and could potentially cost us a year or two of retooling to integrate him.
Meanwhile, Deron has become the linchpin of what is--when it has all its peices--as devastating an offensive attack as there is in the NBA. Utah's O is on par with the Lakers--maybe even better--when they have everyone healthy. You don't mess with that to take on another teams baggage. No matter how good that baggage is.
But on pure talent, this trade is pretty close to being equal. A franchise caliber big plus an extremely efficient PG is nothing to sneer at.

I wouldnt do it! Deron runs the whole show for us, while Bosh and Jose are good players just look at your record they dont win games on their play alone, while Deron does he sometimes single handedly will win us games!

I think our friend ment to say Bosh + Jose for Boozer and Collins.
Then the Jazz trade Jose + Brewer + Harpring for Joe Johnson

I hope you are kidding also.
I like Joe Johnson, but he's terribly inefficient, and the Jazz would be giving up maybe their most efficient player in Brewer.

Portland's management was (Please Use More Appropriate Word) for dealing away the number three pick in 05'.... I agree with everyone here that there's no reason for Utah to do this one.
