Hi guys,

Figured this was as good a place as any to throw out some feelers. I'm 27 years old, have a BA in finance and have been in finance sales for 5 years split between 2 differnt companies here in Orange County. . Was also #1 in sales at both corporations probaly out of 100-150 sales people combined. Set record for sales by an intern in 06' (out of 200 total), won salesman of the year in 07', was runner up in 08' (shouldn't have taken that 2 week vacation).I consider myself very proficient in sales, underwriting, reviewing financials, I can use a finance calculator better than most CPA's, evaluate credit reports, close deals, attend trade shows, etc. In short, I'm very qualified for any sales position.

To the point, with the current banking crisis, my company has taken a big hit. I was wondering if anyone knew about sales jobs in OC/LA area with a good base pay. I'm also interested in sales management positions. Industries I'm not interested in would be mortgage or debt consolidation, as well as leasing. If you guys are aware of any companies with base pays starting around 50k with opportunity for commission, I'd be very interested. I'm still with my current job but the business is taking a major hit with the economy and I'd rather not wait to be on board when the ship sinks.
