Dwight Howard?

Post#1 » by The Magic Man » Wed Mar 4, 2009 8:03 pm

Im interested if Dwight was on the trading block what would you give up to get him.
My trade would be this:
Orl:Howard,Alston,Battie
Chl:Oakfor,Wallace,Diaw,Felton,1rd

pg:Alston,Augustin,Singltary
sg:Bell
sf:Radmanovic
pf:May,J.Howard,Mohammed
c:Howard,Diop,Ajinca

You would have to sign some freeagents but you would have that superstar center to build around for the next ten years.

Pass. What's the good of having someone like Dwight if it blows a Titanic sized hole in the roster?

I love Dwight. He's amazing. However, he's not a guy I'd want to build my team around. Slam said it best, we'd be too thin.

Say what? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills! I would give the entire roster, there are very few franchise players, Dwight Howard is a franchise player.

He is arguably the best defensive player in the league, the best rebounder in the league, and can score 21ppg with incredible efficiency. He's an iron man who never gets injured and is still only 23. If he's not a guy to build a team around, I have no idea who is.

I don't think he meant it like that.
Humble yourself.

Yeah, basically you could have whatever you wanted from our team to match salaries plus our draft picks. But why even bring this up, Orlando just would never trade him - especially to a team within their division unless Howard demanded a trade specifically to Charlotte, lol.

sorry guys, never gonna happen
but honestly, you guys are on the right track with the team you have, LB is coaching good and I really think your team makes the playoffs this year, if not this year than the next, I have really started to enjoy watching the Bobcats play, I don't know if you guys have seen on the magic board in the past that we've jokingly called your team the Babycats, but we obviously can't say that about your team anymore.
Good luck for the rest of the season!
